Tea for Two — Restaurant in England

I came across this little cafe out shopping with my friend, we called in and had some food it was lovely, we decided to call in again today the 22nd of the 10, 2025 at around 11:30, we ordered sausage egg on toast, beans on toast we could not believe for what we were charged for the small amount of beans on thin slices toast, it was over £ 4 pound, such a shame on the second visit, to be saved with a small amount of beans thinly spread over toast, i don't mind paying for nice quality food and we thought with found a lovely cafe, unbelievable I understand you've got overhead to pay but what you charge for beans on toast and what you gave, i've given more to a child of four, we would have been a good customer but sadly you're left the side down, by trying to make more money by giving very small portions once again I totally understand you will have a living to make, for the beans they were catered beans the juice was like water, charging over 4 pound for thin toast and beans, and very thin watery sauce you need to get a better quality beans it was a left down, for the second visit we were recognized right away but sadly there won't be a third i hate to be...

The 'Tea for Two' is under new ownership since the last time I visited it, albeit since last year, as far as I can see it's been refurbished and looks very fresh and clean inside, due to me calling in with my friend about 15 minutes before closing time we didn't have enough time to order any food from the new menu, but we did enjoy our cups of peppermint and traditional tea; at the time of writing, they no longer play the old 60's to eighties music as the music was played on a radio. Next time I visit I'll make sure I come in plenty of time to order something on the menu to try out some food to eat with...

We visited Tea for Two earlier this week. We asked for tea to arrive with our food, but tea came early and the food took ages to arrive. Tea was cold by then.
