Not suitable for allergy sufferers

Food was fine however we had a very stressful experience due to our son's peanut allergy (severe allergy likely to require hospitalization if ingested but he can tolerate traces). We requested meals without peanut (replaced if possible by cashew nuts) as we regularly share our dishes with our son.

The first dish arrived with cashew and crushed peanuts once flagged got taken back. When returned back it was obvious it wasn't freshly prepared but just had crushed nuts taken off therefore causing a huge risk for our son. Once flagged again it was returned as freshly prepared.

The second dish arrived with peanuts on top and also got taken away reprepared. After sharing the second dish with our son it was only in the middle of the meal that we realized that it still had peanuts inside! We were lucky that our son didn't have a reaction but had to anxiously monitor him for the rest of the meal. This completely ruined our experience and my wife did not finish her dish. Despite being a friend waiter they even had the cheek to charge us for the nut containing uneaten dish.

I’ve been going to the Thai Chef restaurant in Leighton Buzzard for over 3 years now and it’s always been fantastic. The food is always delicious and full of flavor – it’s like a little taste of Thailand right here in town.

Their menu has something for everyone. Whether it’s the Pad Thai, Green Curry, or something else, it’s all great. The ingredients are fresh and everything is cooked just right.

The best part might be the people working there. They’re really friendly and make sure you have a great time. They know the menu inside out and are always ready to help you pick something good.

The young lady in training was also very good!

Had a take away last weekend for the first time from Thai Chef. My telephone call was answered quickly, ordering was easy and efficient and a time given for collecting, my choice 30 minutes.

Easy parking outside the restaurant for a pickup or use of the car park behind the restaurant if eating-in, makes it very convenient.

My order of Thai green curry, pad Thai and jasmine rice was ready for pick up on time, Sue even included chilli in fish sauce, thank you.

All the food was hot by the time I got home in about 15 minutes to the opposite side of town.
