A fair quality Thai at a very fair price. The wife and I chose the £18 per person set menu. We received some complimentary prawn and Thai crackers with chilli sauce to start with, which were nice. Then we had a platter of 6 small pork ribs in a sweet chilli sauce (tasty, but high in bone and low in meat), a couple of satay chicken skewers (tender and fragrant with lemon grass and ginger, but lacking in any peanut sauce or peanut flavor) and a couple of vegetable spring rolls (crispy and light / not oily at all on the outside and filled with soft white cabbage, carrot and a bit of onion; but a bit bland), all garnished with some carved carrot and shredded white cabbage. The main event comprised of 5 dishes; Steamed jasmine rice - did exactly what it said on the menu Stir fried mixed vegetables - carrot, onion, greens, beansprouts, peppers, brocolli and mushrooms, covered in a soy-rich sauce and garnished with chopped peanuts. The veg still had some bite, twas good. Beef with oyster sauce - beef, mushrooms, pepper, onion carrot with a lovely garlicy sauce with a good umami hit. Vegetable Pad Thai - noodles, the same kinda veg, egg and tofu, with a nice crunch of peanuts, but a somewhat over-sweet sauce. Green Thai chicken curry - the dish of the evening! Tender chicken, onions, bamboo shoots and aubergine in a slightly too thin and slightly too hot sauce, but a sauce that was rich with coconut milk and heady with lemon grass and Thai basil. We had a glass of chenin blanc and Sauvignon blanc between us and after asking three times we eventually got some water too. We were offered a digestif at the end of a meal, so good, if inconsistent hospitality. This was an enjoyable meal, especially for the £46.30 it came to, but with some good and mediocre parts. I recommend this Thai restaurant, but wouldn't personally necessarily seek it out if I was to find myself back in the area. FYI there's parking outside on the high street or up the side streets nearby.

Yum woon sen is super great and spicy enough. If a chef can cook a Yum Woon Sen like this, definitely can cook very well with other dishes. But don’t know why the fried wet noodles cannot reach the standard with the strange texture of the noodles and no yellow soy bean sauce but only cooked with oyster sauce. The vege Tom yum soup got no coconut milk, lack of different flavours😕Maybe lack of important ingredients, that’s why we were a bit disappointed. By the way, decoration in the restaurant are fantastic with different handcrafted furnitures.

This was the worst dining experience I've ever had, bar none!!!. The food was inedible!!, it had 5mm of fat floating on top of the sauce, the waiter was rude and intirely useless!!. Many unsatisfied customers aswell as us...AVOID!!!!!

Arrived for 8:30 booking for a place advertised to close at 10pm on a Saturday night. Atmosphere initially okay, but then staff and cooks could be heard shouting at each other. Inattentive staff not checking if to see whether if more drinks are required. Food okay ; but had a feeling they wanted us to order more than the standard set meal. fairly good value for money though and food quite tasty - very strong basil taste in the Thai green curry, however at 9pm the “atmospheric” music stopped and did not start again, despite being told the music had stopped, they just agreed that yes, the music had indeed stopped. This changed the whole atmosphere of the placed to give the vibe that they want you to leave as soon as possible, cleaning up around you with a passive aggressive atmosphere. They were not happy to accept tip payment on card with the main meal payment, but grudgingly accepted as no cash carried. Won’t be coming back despite the okay food due to poor...

We’d been looking to eat here for a while. Decided to use the app to reserve a table. There was no confirmation sent but we arrived at the time booked anyway.. apparently the request had been seen but not responded to. We were the only two people to sit in and eat all evening (hence, little or no atmosphere) however the kitchen remained busy with takeaway orders. A sweetcorn fritter and a hot and sour soup to start, both very tasty and presented beautifully. Prawn pad Thai and chicken massaman both absolutely delicious. Both presented very well and exceptional in taste. Every single component within the dishes were cooked to perfection, an absolute delight. We hope to return again, perhaps on a busier night or for takeaway. Almost certainly the best Thai food I’ve had! And well done on the cleanliness of the restaurant.. this goes a long...
