What a find at the top of the high street in Wellington. Small and welcoming, the owners offer a great selection of Thai food perfect for lunch or an evening takeaway.
There is an extensive menu and a £10 lunch deal with all meals cooked with fresh ingredients while you wait. We opted for lunch deals of Chicken Pad Thai and Thai red curry with beef.
The Pad Thai was adorned with everything you would expect, flat rice noodles, crunchy vegetables, egg and plenty of chicken. A scattering of peanuts, chilli flakes and wedge of lime to garnish as you wish.
Thai red curry packed a warming punch and the flavours were exceptional. Sizeable chunks of slow cooked, tender beef and a variety of vegetables filled the bowl. Overall great value authentic Thai flavours.
Due to this being a small business they currently only offer delivery through @justeat and ofcourse you can collect in person.
Most definitely fills a gap to have a Thai of this quality in North Telford. If it’s a takeaway you’re after or you are lucky enough to bag the table to eat in be sure to try Thai Kitchen. Another fantastic asset...
Read moreWe enjoyed a delicious Thai takeaway meal from Thai Kitchen last night. The Green curry was brilliantly hot (as in spicy), The Vampire’s Nightmare (with king prawns) was super garlicky and full of flavour, coconut rice was perfectly sticky and comforting, and the sweet chilli dipping sauce that came with fabulous prawn crackers and with some mini vegetable rolls was amazingly tasty. My only criticism is that the outer of the mini vegetable rolls was a wee bit tough, but that’s being picky. Thai Kitchen’s not a cheap option, be warned - our (greedy) takeaway meal of two starters and two mains, with one rice to share cost over £40 - but it was so delicious that I’m slightly nervous of leaving this review in case the place gets TOO successful and we can’t get a meal when we want one,...
Read moreWhat a gem of a shop for Telford. I like to treat myself every few weeks to either a takeaway or sit in. You do have your book as there is only one table, if you want alcoholic drink you have to bring your own. Tim is so welcoming serving you whilst Mag works her magic in the kitchen area. The Massaman curry is just that little too mild for me but when asked they spice it up a tiny bit, the meat is tender and melt in the mouth. Lovely food served lovely people, may it always stay in wellington where I can get...
