We ordered vegetable samosas, lamb samosas, and Bombay chaat — and this was our first (and definitely last) time ordering from here.
Terrible service experience: We opted for collection, but were shocked to find that no chutney or sauce was provided with the samosas. When we asked, the staff said it would cost extra. Seriously? At £4.50 for just 2 tiny samosas, you can’t even include basic chutney? These are barely snack-sized, and similar ones cost around 70–80p each at most takeaway shops. We understand this is a restaurant and prices are higher, but basic accompaniments should be a given.
Extremely misleading menu: We ordered Bombay Chaat expecting the traditional version — crispy chickpeas, yogurt, coriander, pomegranate, etc. Instead, we received a tiny poori with potato curry in a small foil container. No photos or proper descriptions were available on Deliveroo or the restaurant’s own menu, and when we called to question it, they insisted it was clearly described — which it wasn’t. Charged £6.50 and it’s in the starter’s side.
Rude and unhelpful customer service: When we tried to explain the issue, we were dismissed and spoken to rudely. No apology, no offer to make things right — just defensiveness.
All in all, a rip-off with poor food value and even worse service. Absolutely will not be ordering again, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid...
Read moreI have to say that I completely disagree with the first two comments; I have been eating at the Binoy for about 5 years now, and rate it as one of the best in the areas; most definately on a level with the Spice Route in Windsor town centre. Since they have relocated, and become a restaurant as well as just a takeaway as before, I have been there a lot more and found that the quality of the food only improved from there. For the price, considering mains include rice, I have never felt ripped off; I pay the same amount in other takeaways, for a lesser quality of food. To be completely honest, for a little restaurant in a residential area, they exceeded my expectations on first visit, and I am flabbering around as to how the first two...
Read moreBinoy is a fantastic spot for authentic Indian cuisine, offering a perfect mix of traditional flavors and modern presentation. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly staff ensuring a great dining experience. Their King Prawn Bhuna is a standout—succulent prawns cooked in a rich, flavorful sauce with just the right blend of spices. The biryanis are fragrant and packed with authentic flavors, while the naan is fresh and pairs perfectly with their delicious curries. Vegetarian options, like paneer tikka and dal makhani, are equally impressive. With generous portions and reasonable prices, Binoy is a must-visit for Indian...
