The Central Coffee House — Restaurant in England

Fabulous food, coffee that absolutely hit the right spot and staff were lovely. A really nice relaxed placed well worth a visit. No pictures as we were a little on the disheveled side but the Mr had breakfast panini, comes alone. He was really happy with it, the flavours and the bread were bang on- only drawback (personal preference) was the thickness of the tomatoe slices.- But they make to order so when we go back he knows to ask.

I had bacon, cranberry and brie panini, comes with crisps, salad and homemade coleslaw. I swear it has been a while since I had one that good. Superb combination ratio, I asked for bacon crispy and it was (just) and their homemade coleslaw is lush.

Costs for the two panini and 2 coffees was under 20 quid and we didn't get hungry...

If in these strange times, you are missing out on a proper Afternoon Tea you have come to the right place at the Central Coffee House. The Takeaway Afternoon Tea has to be pre booked but don’t let this but you off because when you call to collect you will be presented with a large box full of goodies. Proper sandwiches with good fillings, two scones each(home-made), three cakes and a macaroon each all excellent produce and delicious with it. Only called in for a coffee but ended up ordering “sandwiches”. I had Haloumi with avocado, and chilli jam focaccia, hubby went for the meat feast ciabatta. We both had a side of coleslaw (homemade and a must if you like coleslaw). Coffee was lovely and strong, sandwiches were huge and delicious. Very friendly staff and great service.
