So, this weekend was a tale of 2 experiences. We visited on Friday evening (myself, my sister, and my teenage niece, who were visiting for the weekend). We ate in the restaurant around 6pm. Service was friendly and very efficient despite a large group ordering at a similar time. Between the 3 of us we had a pizza, a parmo and carbonara plus a garlic bread. Food portions are huge, we had plenty of leftovers which they will happily box up for you. We had 3 large glasses of wine and 2 soft drinks and the bill was a little over £70 which we felt was good value for what we had. My niece absolutely loved her food and she is a typical fussy teenage girl. We intended getting a takeaway Saturday evening and my niece asked if we could order from Uno Momento as she'd enjoyed it so much. I placed an online order around 8.05pm for delivery with an estimated 45 to 60 minute delivery time. I got a confirmation of the order and the charge was made to my credit card. I called around 9.30pm as the order hadn't arrived to be told they'd basically overlooked the order and the kitchen was now closed. The chap on the end of the phone was polite and apologised but that doesn't really help at 9.30pm with hungry teenagers and no food coming! I have since read reviews online and delivery seems hit and miss at best so I don't think I'd risk it again. I would, however, return to the...
Read moreedit: food used to be great but has gone down hill over the years . Pizzas are too thick and and crusts are massive, flattish but could had more sauce to give you more pizza . Pizza used to be thin and and taste amazing but taste is not something to rave about . I we tried many times over the last 12 months and everytime the food hasn’t been nice. Eatable but nothing to write home with like before. Seems as when Biancos opened up it all went down hill and if the cooks that worked there left and went there . I’ve seen posts on Facebook asking people to come back etc after leaving a review and they had but with the reviews left it feels to me they made the food as good as they good that night and go back to old ways as each time I went back, not being asked to as didn’t leave a review online it’s been the same old bland pizza and food so.
Food was amazing! Down side was you have to book days or weeks in advance but worth the wait ! Reasonable prices and portion sizes...
Read moreFood was average - king prawns in slightly spicy tomato sauce served with roasted new potatoes and three veg! Like a Sunday roast without meat. Seafood linguine looked and tasted very watery as if all the seafood had been boiled instead of cooked in a frying pan, mainly mussels and white fish with a few overdone shrimps. Margarita Pizza was mainly base with very little tomato and cheese. Starters were more appetising, smoked salmon and terrine were good. Goats Cheese and Black Pudding was tasty. Older waiter was quite miserable, while the younger one was very pleasant. The atmosphere was very flat with few people in and no background music. More like a midweek afternoon rather...
