The Courtyard — Restaurant in England

We found this place via Google reviews while on holiday. We love a quirky coffee shop and wanted to find somewhere away from the crowds- it definitely did not disappoint. If you're a house plant fanatic then you'll feel perfectly at home here, with house plants decorated virtually everywhere you look. We had a lot of fun with our plant identifier app. The staff were friendly and we had a lovely chat with the owner(?), who has grown and cared for all the plants himself and clearly has a passion for what he does. We had a smoothie, milkshake and two slices of cake for £14, which all tasted great. Would particularly recommend the mango smoothie and the orange and almond cake! There's both outdoor and indoor seating there and it's all very clean and well presented. The toilet was even stocked with nappies and feminine hygiene products etc. if you needed them, which I thought was such a nice welcoming touch. Would definitely be a regular if we didn't live...

I do not recommend this place. Today I met up with my friends for my birthday, and I had been recommended to go to your café so I suggested we should go to this place. I was extremely disappointed and embraced because the cups smelled like rotten eggs, I was also disappointed because it took 30 minutes for our small pastries to come; they also did not bring the sauce that came with the salads and was on the menu and when we asked they said we have added it but we can bring more, they brought about a teaspoon of sauce for...

Nice out of the way cafe. Lovely staff and service with a relaxed simple atmosphere.

I had the bacon, chipolata and egg ciabatta. Now that might sound simple but it was done to perfection. The bread was astounding baked perfectly both soft but with a crunch and the bacon sausage and egg were all perfectly put together. I had my 2 year old with me and noticed he was getting hungry so rushed his toast down whilst they made our food. Just...
