The Crossings Fish & Chips — Restaurant in England

Absolutely disgust.

Had approximately a dozen chips from one of each and threw the rest in the bin. The batter was so soggy on my cod that all most all of my chips had gone soggy too.

I would’ve taken photos to substantiate my post but I was so angry, they just went in the bin.

Just had the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G fish in batter ...!! The batter stayed crispy until the very last bite ... the cod was brilliant..! The mushy peas did NOT taste of anything but PEAS ... no bicarb taste at all. Hubby had potato scallops and was impressed as they weren't greasy (neither was the fish I had) ... they were tasty according to him and he loved the fact that the batter was crispy and not soggy at all. It's been awhile since we have been here, but we finally made it back to Selby. And The Crossings was first on our list to visit. We were not disappointed.
