The Little Coffee House — Restaurant in England

As this is a coffee house I would expect the coffee to be perfect. The cappuccino I had I sent back, the replacement wasn't really any better. Basically it was a coffee with a small amount of frothed milk on top. I'm really not being funny but you need to learn how to use your coffee machine.

Milk. People want alternative milks, soya doesn't really cut it nowadays, how about getting some oat or almond..

First time visiting this cafe and certainly won't be the last. I rang in the morning to book for an afternoon tea for 2 and they were more than accomadating booking me in at short notice. We arrived and the cafe was busy with a few regulars but noticed straight away that the cafe and the kitchen was immaculately clean...so off to a great start! All staff were very polite and professional throughout the whole experience too. We sat and ordered our drinks and in minutes our amazing afternoon tea was presented to us and let me tell you it was one of the best I've seen...couldn't finish it and even took the rest home for later and still couldn't finish it! Very disappointed, having been going since this cafe first opened a friend and I loved coming here. Due to shifts we haven't met up for a long time we went today food was ok . However service was appalling, sat for 45 minutes after we had finished waiting for plates to clear before ordering a cake. Poor choice in cakes from previous visits. I would like to say this is a one off but I came on my own about five months ago .
