The Hideout Café — Restaurant in England

We had the wrong order delivered to which we phoned them and asked for a refund as after an hour we were no longer bothered about eating breakfast, delivery driver (supposedly the manager) come back 10 minutes later with other orders laid across the pavement trying to work out which was was ours and asked us to return the wrong food he had given us to give to the correct customer (this is disgusting and probably against food hygiene laws) after swearing and stressing about which member of staff he was blaming for the mess up I told him to just leave and issue a refund. After about 3 phone calls speaking to a young girl who had no idea what was going on we was finally told to request the refund via an app. Unless you want cold food that has possibly been opened in someone’s home or spread across the floor I suggest avoiding this place at all costs ( probably needs investigating by trading standards and food hygiene authorities)...

We have visited a few times and the food has been amazing but most of all the service has been excellent. We have a 20 month old little girl and nothing was a trouble. Her food was brought out before ours so it cooled down in time so we could all eat together. They supplied children's cutlery and also colouring to keep her entertained. Just great service because you can go to places to eat and having kids can just be stressful and feel like it to much for some places not providing the little things for little people.
