I must say I only went for the ice cream there's a lady what's got ice-cream van she's about 10 minutes away from the station, she does all sorts of different things what you need you to eat, you can have fruity ice cream or plain ice cream or you can have what you like it in there from Nutella to caramel 2 fruits ice cream and chocolate it's got a nice little table outside where you can sit down and rest your feet and have a little breakfast in there is as well and there's lots of things there you could do and lots of different restaurants in...
Read moreFinding myself in Leigh an hour too early, I found myself at Leigh Cliffs... While there's nothing there per se, it is a lovely peaceful spot, with a great view out overlooking the Estuary. Granted the day I was there was warm but grey and overcast, the tide was in and the sailing club was out in full force.
Honestly, I spent the hour just sitting and chilling in the gardens. Definitely a place to go walk the dog, chill out or just watch the tides turning. Just remember to take your rubbish...

A good variety of (take out due to covid restrictions) Cafe's, coffee shops etc. Great walks in either direction along the shore or shore roads.
