21 October 2021: What a lovely warm and inviting coffee shop. The outside building is extremely attractive and the interior decor is gorgeous. The staff were amazing, very friendly, welcoming and attentive... The menu selection is very tempting and has a good selection of food, cakes and the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available are good and caters for everyone. We popped in here for some lunch and drinks and we weren't disappointed as the food was freshly prepared, cooked and delicious and my bottle of Speckled Hen was perfect along with the white Zinfandel wine too. The prices are very reasonable and good value for the great food and drinks. Our choice for lunch was a portion of their "Dirty Loaded chips with bacon, cheese and spicy mayo, devilishly delicious.. and a BLT (bacon, lettuce and tomato) on seeded Brown bread toasted sandwich with fresh salad nicely dressed too...one of the best BLT's I've had in a very long time. So fresh and the bacon was stacked and out of this world too...wow!! Thank you to all the staff and chef/s, you are all stars and we'll definitely be back again, especially for your afternoon proper Tea session!! They also do take-away and have outdoors seating area for sunny days! We highly recommend this cafe and definitely worthy of a visit when in Market Drayton town centre...

My mum and I used to visit The Hideout every week for lunch, but it has been a while since our last trip. We returned today—and instantly remembered why we loved it so much. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, creating such a lovely atmosphere. The food is simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I always go for the brie and caramelised onion panini—it’s my go-to, and it never disappoints! There’s always a specials board packed with tempting new dishes, and the cake and sponge pudding selection is out of this world. The Hideout is, without a doubt, the best spot for lunch in Market Drayton!

What a little gem this find was! A friend mentioned visiting a certain milkshake bar in Staffordshire, but the day before I had seen a post from The Hideout on our local Facebook page, so of course I suggested we try this first! We were not disappointed, and managed to bag one of the last chocolate eggs they were doing before Easter finished ;) The lady at the bar kindly split a milkshake for my 2 small children, nothing was a problem! We will be back :)

Popped in here after walking around the ginger and spice festival. Surprised at the all used dishes and glasses left on the table. We found a suitable seat but had to clear the table our selves. A member of staff came out and just watched and then returned to the bar area. Another member of staff eventually came to the table only to tell us that we couldn’t order food as they were inundated with orders plus there was a 20 minute wait for drinks. Staff came across very rude and didn’t really apologise for the inconvenience. Considering it was just after 2pm and the place was not really busy I was a bit surprised. Anyway won’t be coming...
