Went to Lambwath tonight expecting to have a nice meal as i had heard the food was lovely..booked table online though didnt need to has it was quite empty..2 of our table wanted fish but was told there was no fish(baring in mind that fish is 1 of the main food categories on menu).so they ended having to order scampi(which was meant to be served with lemon and tartare sauce ,which they didnt receive) .I myself decided to have a wrap which came with salad and mayo or so it said on menu...My wrap was like a poppadom very dry and no mayo and little bit of lettuce(no other salad to be seen,if i was a rabbit i may have been happy,as for my chips cremated isnt the word they wer inedible ,as for my partners chips they were still hard in centre(how can a chef get 'cooking' chips wrong )we sat there for 10minutes or so expecting staff member to come and clear table but no1 did so made an hasty exit..my 1st time at Lambwath and last !Had to put 1 star to post this review however i wouldnt have put any

Edit – I’ve been to Lambsworth’s multiple times since my last review, and honestly, it’s been brilliant. So, I’m bumping it up from 4 to 5 stars! I always go for the Full Works Carvery—delicious, with roast potatoes that are perfectly crispy on the outside. 😋 Definitely felt this update was needed. Visited Lambsworth on Sunday, December 3rd, with my mum, grandma, and sister. We all ordered the Festival 3-course meal, which was decent. I had tomato soup with bread—really good! Service from our waitress was lovely, but the bartenders seemed a bit inexperienced when making our cocktails. For the main course, the Carvery was a little stingy on meat, but for the price, I enjoyed it and would still recommend. Dessert was chocolate fudge cake with cream, though it really should’ve come with ice cream!

Service from the bar & chef catering staff was excellent. Atmosphere was great, not to busy being early lunchtime. Good choice of meats 🍖 & vegetables 🌰 🥔 🥕on offer. But very Sadly 😥 did not meat 😃 lol our expectations. We ordered x3 carvery Sadly the beef 🐄 contained too much fat & gristle 😫 Our sister actually " choked " on a stringy piece😫 I also noticed a few uncleared Tables with the rind of beef on most 🍽 plates 🍽 Possible a very common problem?? The gammon 🐖 was the best of the choice of 🍖 meats. Sadly the vegetables were all cold 🥶 My dear wife had the fish 🐟 which was nice & tasty 😋 But again the mash & garden peas 🫛 were cold 🥶 Afterwards we shared a bottomless 😋 ice cream 🍦 sundae & a Berry ice cream 🍦 sundae 😋

Good carvery well again I went here on Sunday at 3.15 booked a table and as u was early I decided to have a drink and as part off mitchell and butler they have promotion and I had a free pint off peroni and I had checked all terms and conditions and it didn't mention anything about ordering a meal but I didn't get that far anyway as the server a obnoxious individual that should never be behind a bar or any were near the public said this doesn't work and called a supervisor they told her she was doing it wrong and as it turned out it was because I had ordered a cider that they had decided in this pub to get rid off a d reduce the price so said I would have a different cider she got adjitated and said it won't work as you have to order a meal well as I had read the terms and conditions I new this to be incorrect and I told her so so then she shouted it right it s right I told her not to shout at me three times but she continued the duty manager or supervisor that was more bothered about talking to a person didn't say anything too her and it was in plain site and hearing so I walked away I then in the car park wrote a complaint on there site and later got a reply more or less calling me a liar so never got my apology and I have a witness to all u have said is the truth so if mitchell and butler think this is how ther staff should treat the public good look to them as they will soon have to change there website as that says customers matter and I know that this is problem with the manager and staff at this restaurant as on the road it's a totally pleasant staff the four in hand a sizzlers also a mitchell and butler well today I went to the west bulls sister establishment to see if I was correct and to prove that the management her were wrong what they said and did on Sunday as I stated previously and I had no problem at all with the rewards so not only was the manager wrong about them and he was also wrong in his assessment of his member of staff don't go here as its not a patch on the west bulls in anyway staff premises decoration food or management this is my opinion try them both and...

We visited Lambwath last night, not been for quite a while was 5.45pm when we arrived. We had booked a table for 3 of us. Wasn't really full but quite a lot of tables reserved. I went up first to get mine and my grandsons meal. A lot of the dishes only had dregs of food in stuffing was all really well done. I like a bit of crisp but this was far beyond this, managed to find a small soft piece for my grandson who is only 2. The only dishes that was full was roast spuds, green beans, peas. All the rest didn't hv much available, there was no one to ask for any refills. My daughter went up for hers 5 mins after me as there was a few people in front of her. She asked if there was anymore stuffing and was told by the guy who was cutting the meat it would be about 5 minutes. Somebody was now filling the rest of the dishes up. I know i could have gone back up but i never as i'd nearly finished mine. She went back up about 10 minutes later and still none there just the Crispy one still. So she never had any in the end . But I would like to say a big gesture to Jody who honestly never stops. We have had the pleasure of her waiting on us a few times. And each time nothing is to much for her, my daughter asked if she had any straws near their till and she said no. But went to bar and fetched some straws even though she hadn't fetched the drinks through. Shes always polite , helpful and will do as much as she can if you have any issues. It seems a lot of the old staff have left over the last year. You had a disabled lad who had worked there years and a few other girls but all have all disappeared as they was all lovely. But Jody has made a massive difference in getting that good customer service back. She so deserves a mention to say how good she is. If I had a eating place she would be someone who I'd love to have on my team. A massive well...

Visited with my family and my sisters family on the Friday 31st of May. Booked last minute…being that morning for a 12:30 slot and I asked on my booking form for a quieter area due to my children with special needs though I thought it may not be possible due to being half term and most likely busy. When we arrived it was very busy but we found our table round the back of the restaurant in a quieter area which was perfect. We used the QR code on the menu to order which was quick easy and drinks arrived quickly as well as ice cream tokens which meant we didn’t have to wait around after eating to order those for the children. We also had a voucher for 25% off of food from the website which was very useful as I was paying for both families and the food was reasonably priced already. The wait staff were polite and friendly and very helpful . There was a small wait on the food but it was not a problem as we had no where to be and the waitress apologised on the wait . I saw on a board at the counter that the chef was in training and I have to say the food we recieved all arrived hot, of top quality, very well cooked and delicious, so props to him! A great dining experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we are looking forward to visiting The Lambwath again when we visit...
