Note: location shown on maps is wrong, it is above water lane, at point tagged as old tearoom, on the main street. That what a proper business and marketing mindset would be like. In a place that no one else thought providing something what tourists would want, a ready picnic set! There is some trouble otherwise finding food in Castle Combe. Woman running this home business is extremely helpful and trying to serve you well. For 22 pound (during my visit) you will get a nice box with two ciabatta sandwiches with a choice of cheese, egg, tuna or ham, plus chutney, cream, waffle, cake, cookie, little meat pie, tea and few items else. Super fresh, prepared locally and amazingly tasty🤤 You can even get a picnic blanket and tea crockery for free. Products were nut free as we asked. You can share 1 box with 2 adults, but maybe stay a bit hungry and not enjoy it fully.

Don’t even think twice, book a picnic box from here! Anna was AMAZING to work with. She is able to accommodate all dietary needs. I got a gluten free and dairy free box and it was one of the best meals I had while I was in England. SO much food and SO much flavor. The price was perfect and it was sooooooo good!!!!! Her shop is beautiful on the outside too for pictures! My friend got a traditional box with no allergies and it was delicious too. Absolutely brilliant!!

Fantastic experience from Anna! Castle Combe was very busy and we were grateful to have our picnic ordered ahead. We had the vegan picnic and everything was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was on a fresh baguette and had a lovely cranberry sauce with some greens. The pastries were all unique and tasty, there was even a piece of a pear pie. She provided recommendations on where to sit. Highly suggest ordering ahead if you’re planning a trip to the town!

For my partners birthday I ordered two picnic boxes and hired a hamper for the day, which comes with a basket, blanket, crockery and utensils etc. Anna was lovely and I’d been emailing her for a while to organise it, as I wanted it be really special. We collected it late morning before heading to Dyrham national trust park. Unfortunately I’d never been to Castle Combe before and hadn’t thought the logistics through (my fault!) The village seems to get busy early. My advice is plan ahead, and collect your picnic as early as possible. Parking is extremely limited. Other than this, we enjoyed our picnic and the contents were delicious. Sadly I wouldn’t return as we found collection was just too difficult and stressful due to the location. Hopefully...

We booked picnic hampers from the Little Picnic Shop for our trip to Castle Combe and had a great experience! The food was lovely, and there was plenty of it- it lasted us through both lunch and dinner. The picnic hamper came full of goodies perfect for a laidback afternoon by the river: dominos, playing cards, and a lighthearted book to read. Anna was amazing, she directed us to a nice little spot for our picnic and even lent us her set of playing cards after we returned our hamper so we could keep playing. Overall, really enjoyed it, and we'll definitely be back next time we're through. If you're coming through Castle Combe, I'd highly recommend having a picnic by the river with a hamper from the Little...
