The Masons Arms — Restaurant in England

If I could give a minus star I would. To give the service I received 1 Star is too generous. I ordered a Rum and Coke to which the barmaid poured a large glass of Diet Coke into a Coke glass. When I said I ordered a rum and Coke, the reply was Oh and I was told to drink some out of the large glass of Coke to make room so the barmaid then proceeded to poured 1 shot into the glass. I then paid £8.90. When I questioned the bill, I was informed that a large Coke costs £3.90. I didn't order a large Coke though. To my astonishment she said "I've rang it through the till now" Absolutely shocking behaviour, zero customer service whatsoever. So let me get this straight you poured me a drink I didn't order and charged me full price for the large Coke I also didn't order. No offer to start again. I don't like a large Coke with my rum, only a splash. The barmaid was rude, couldn't care less about the customer and seemed to think this customer service was ok...... Not...

Lovely local pub with outstanding service. Enjoyed a quiet Sunday evening drink here with a friend, my first time in, and I was delighted by the modern finish for what looks like a traditional style pub from the outside. Nice big outdoor seating area at the back. Inside there was a giant tv which was showing the England girls team who had just won the euros. Just a few people in and the lovely Lou behind the bar welcomed us. I enjoyed a delicious freshly made cappuccino and my friend had a rum and coke. Reasonably priced and of a good quality. We sat in the window seats and enjoyed the atmosphere and the view of the village outside. Looking forward to going back to sample what looks like a great selection of food they serve. Highly...

Ordered two meals. When they were brought to the table one was wrong. The waitress had delivered our meals to the wrong table and the people had started eating the food. I was asked if we could wait for a replacement to be cooked. I agreed as long as both meals be cooked fresh as I did not want one to stand whilst the fresh one was cooked. I heard shouting and swearing from the kitchen and the landlady shouting of course the food is fing freshly cooked. Many more expletives were said by her before I asked for our money back. On the way out the landlady said "if that's how you feel f off and take your dog with you! Nice...
