The Mere Inn — Restaurant in England

Not been before so, we had a party of 9, phone booked, on the day the table was set, but I noticed a round table that would suit better, had I known I would have booked it. The staff moved us to the round table. The service the food and the surroundings were perfect. 10/10 Right now for the bad bits, there were none. So we will be back, we all said that everything was great and a huge thank you to the staff. But I don't want you to go cos we want it all...

Bad beer no atmosphere no kitchen staff for bar snacks but menus out ..friendly welcome from the bar staff but the pub was empty at 5pm . Slumbering Monk my usual joules tipple was on a point of going off & the pork pie was an Iceland frozen disaster not homemade as described ... both beer & pie left ... sorry won't be...

Very pleasant atmosphere and great food. Best to pre-book your roast if you want it on a Sunday as the remaining portions were kept for those who booked a table. But the rest of the menu was great so if you do miss out, don't worry. Steak and Stilton pie hit the spot before our journey home. Would go...
