Lovely building and great location. I went on the day after valentine's for dinner, which was not particularly busy; though the service was not attentive. There was a 50 minute gap between courses, which meant we spent just shy of 2:30hrs here for 3 courses! Food was good, but not authentic Asian food at all, which you would expect from an Asian fusion restaurant... Can't complain about the drinks at all, the valentine liked all of her cocktails and they have Asahi on draft (always welcomed in the UK). Overall, good place to go for a nice meal, but go with the mindset of the food being an English twist on Asian cuisine.

The Asian roast dinner platter is totally worth the hype. Everything was delicious! There was a huge pile of vegetables underneath what you can see in the photos too. Everything cooked to perfection. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the Katsu curry sauce - but it’s such a small part of the meal that I’m fine with it. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back to work my way through the menu! P.S. The teapot had the special gravy in it. Nice touch, it was fun pouring it.

First time visit with my daughter. Eady to book. We were greeted promptly and took straight to our table. The service throughout the evening was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, we both had vegetarian options and there was lots of choices. We shared dessert which sublime. We'll definitely be returning. Only criticism was the volume of the music playing. As a hearing aid wearer I found it hard to hear what my day was saying.

I was looking forward to this place based on reviews and friends saying how good it was… The venue was a little smaller than I imagined, not the end of the world as long as the food lives up to expectations.. However, Prawn sushi was fridge cold, brittle and broke up into the soy sauce as soon as you picked it up. Char Sui Bao Bun was very dry and felt like it was missing a sauce. Confit duck leg literally tasted of nothing apart from stinking old roast duck, hoi sun sauce lacked any flavour and spring onions had the consistency as if the dry outer layer hadn’t been removed . Chicken Gyoza was bland with hardly any filling. Chicken satay was baked well but bland and still had the old annoying and chewy ligaments attached. Hardly any satay sauce and what sauce there was, did not taste of anything nor add anything to the dish at all. Salt & pepper potatoes were Sunday roast potatoes but again, very bland. Everything came with gardens of coriander. Staff seemed miserable and service was slow after we initially ordered. The best things were the drinks, ASAHI on draft and a great mocktail. Home made Wasabi was a nice touch. Overall, it was severely underwhelming and felt like it catered for a much older crowd maybe.. Definitely not worth the money...

Very nice food. Excellent service. The Sunday dinners are really good value and as good as, if not better than, anything I've had at any traditional Sunday lunch pub. Not something you would expect from a 'Japanese' restaurant. Good variety of things on the menu. If you love Sunday dinners then this is a fantastic place to go. If you like your fillet steaks they do an amazing one here with a red wine and bone marrow sauce which is one of the best fillets I've ever had. Also, if you like your deserts (and in particular cheesecakes) you must try their white chocolate and ginger one it's absolutely divine. The normal dinner / a la carte menu is not cheap but it's not ridiculously expensive either. Expect to pay around £100-150 for two starters, mains and a desert, depending on how many drinks you have. Highly...

A restaurant with bouncers! First impressions are everything and sadly this one did not impress. The entrance was in darkness, hardly warm and inviting.

We were sat in a table next to a tacky fake cherry blossom tree. The table was far too small and whilst dodging branches in one side, we dodged waitresses on the other, it was a thoroughfare to the till area.

The menu was not explained well. So many side dishes were not necessary. The design of the menu was poor and made for difficult reading. The table was slippery and a neighbouring table lost a wine glass. Wine went over other diners as well as the floor. It was far too loud and lacked ambiance.

Overall, we will not return. There are better places to dine when spending as much as we did. A lot of hype...
