Interesting how a 'M'other sees fit to berate a community free event, who irresponsibly stayed in the bar drinking whilst her children, unsupervised, were outside carving pumpkins 🎃 with appropriate carving tools, albeit running wild. When asked by the Landlady to ensure and supervise her children's safety, she saw fit to ignore this request and continued to abided in copious amounts of alcohol and now sees fit to assume, 'nay' deems that the responsibility for her children's safety was that of the pub. This event was not an excuse for her to expect the pub to provide a creche. Observing what was happening outside and the neglect of this woman's (mother's) abandonment of her charges was nye on criminal. I would suggest that the author of the "Whinge" and inaccurate account of her failings, before attacking a goodwill community gesture. Read moreStopped here for a drink and I accidentally knocked over my glass of Prosecco (had bought a small bottle) and broke the glass. The guy behind the bar (think he is the owner) came straight over and was so lovely, saying not to worry, took away the broken glass and not only replaced this with a new one, but gave me another bottle of Prosecco too! He couldn't have been any nicer and made an embarrassing situation...
