The New Road Inn

gone completely downhill compared to previous visits. waiters seemed confused and poorly communicated with us/between each other. table was dirty and had to be cleaned. food waiting time was atrocious and wasn’t even worth the wait (we waited an hour for our mains and it wasn’t even busy). shambolic service as some of our dishes were missed out and had to be cooked fresh. dimly lit, dull and dreary and not a welcoming atmosphere. all meat dishes were 90% sauce and 10% meat. veggie dishes were overly spicy so couldn’t appreciate the flavour. noodles were greasy and tasteless. overall, a massive let down and very disappointed. would not recommend nor visit again!!!
