The Park Tavern — Restaurant in England

A few weeks ago, I visited for the first time on a friend's invitation - an evening of good food, a quick game of chess, and a movie at the Pictures in the Park Boutique Cinema on Saturday at 8pm. I absolutely loved it! The cozy private cinema room on the first floor hosts weekly gatherings run by a passionate Cinematography enthusiasts, making the experience feel both intimate and welcoming for newcomers. My first visit was truly enjoyable, and I was impressed by how friendly the community was. The ground floor features a lovely traditional pub that is also dog-friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. Parking along the main road can feel a little tricky, but there's reasonably accessible parking on nearby side streets within a short walking...

The Park Tavern is a Bollington Brewery pub on Park Lane near South Park. It benefits from being slightly out of town and is ran by friendly helpful management and staff. It's tastefully decorated and serves food on certain days including Thursday burger night and Sunday lunches. There's a cozy cinema room and side room both available for hire and the team will put on an amazing spread if needed. Drinks are from the brewery of course, with Aspall cider and good wine selection too . There's a small outside area...

Lovely pub with lots of fab events too! We've done so badly in the pub quiz on our last three attempts but the free food interval definitely makes up for our poor efforts!

We've been to one of the free film showings too - very casual, such a good idea.

We're looking forward to our first Science Talk there and we'll definitely be back for another crack at the quiz.

The range of beers isn't great, it would be nice to have some beers that aren't Bollington Brewery, (maybe do some tap takeovers?) but still...
