Balti Kitchen — Restaurant in England

Not that impressed.... I dont like leaving bad reviews but feel I need to pre warn other customers.....to start with the food took over 1.5 hours to be delivered....rang them after 1 hour ...wait time was allegedly 50 mins ....was told our food had left 10 mins previously....waited another 20 mins and rang again.... can't understand why they dont just say really sorry busy evening please bear with us ....people do understand...when we eventually got the food part of our order was missing and the food was just ok.....tried to call so they could ring the driver to see if she had it in her car but for the next 20 minutes the line was busy..I've had better food and to be honest they definitely won't be my first pick when I next want a curry ...if the food had been amazing I might have understood ....not quite sure lemon in a tikka masala works but im not a curry chef along with mediocre food with bits missing and appalling delivery service means I will be...

Whilst this is my go-to Indian, it's not the absolute best I've ever had, that title is held by Namaste in Köln. Regardless, it's still a damn good curry.

We only order takeaway, but they usually add extra poppadoms, chutney, mint sauce and those tasty onions in with our orders for free.

The chicken pakoras are to die for! My only wish is that I had more. Portions are a good size, enough to have some the next day if you pair the curry with a starter.

Inside the restaurant is very cramped, difficult to sit down due to a stupidly large coffee table.

They are however quick to serve you, super quick! Give them your name and in a few minutes, somebody will be out with your food.

Parking can be quite difficult as there is paid parking right outside that is usually...

Perfect place for family and friends get together. Always treated well. The staff recognise you and even remember who your partner is and other people you have been with. They are so accommodating with dietary restrictions and will also spice up or down a dish to order. I love the vegetable Kahri and usually ask for extra chilli. They will also parcel your left overs so you can take home for later. Food is very tasty. They have an early dine saver menu as well. Lots of beautiful tasting dishes going from the very mild spice to the narga hot. Take a trip to the Balti Kitchen you will not be disappointed especially as a curry lover.
