We have lived in Leigh for 6 years but only recently discovered this lovely fish and chip shop. The staff are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious. We usually get a takeaway but today I ate in with my daughters. This fish and chip shop with an eating area is aptly named - superb fish, superb batter, superb service by all the team, excellently cooked - I travel 3 miles virtually every week to get two wings of skate and my wife and I always enjoy our meal. Saw the reviews on this fish and chip shop so thought I would try it based on the top reviews, the food was very disappointing the chips were soggy not even crispy and the fish was so oily and completely soggy also when should be nice golden crispy the only thing that was nice was the curry sauce. Won’t be trying this place again...
