Absolutely delicious, Iv been searching for GREAT fish and chips around Leigh on sea and southend and THIS IS IT! the main guy there was soo filled with character really welcoming and friendly, I really miss old school fish and chip shops as we don’t have many left in London. But happy to have found one where I go to escape.

Ive just started working in the area and really fancied as battered sausage and chips for lunch. Had a little look on Google and found this gem of a place. Super friendly staff and the food is fresh and very well priced. Really enjoyed my lunch and would highly recommend if you are after a chippy and in the area 👌

Our favourite ‘plaice’ for fish and chips. Staff are so friendly, make a cracking cuppa and the food is fresh and tasty. We love the Ibiza hits playing too!! We had the fish platter between two of us tonight, yum!

We have lived in Leigh for 6 years but only recently discovered this lovely fish and chip shop. The staff are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious. We usually get a takeaway but today I ate in with my daughters. The service was amazing, my daughter cannot eat milk or egg (intolerance) and they were able to tell her what was ok to eat, even showing her labels. I highly recommend this restaurant for...

This fish and chip shop with an eating area is aptly named - superb fish, superb batter, superb service by all the team, excellently cooked - I travel 3 miles virtually every week to get two wings of skate and my wife and I always enjoy our meal. As an aside the portion of chips is plentiful to say the least. So what more could you want. I give The Perfect Plaice my highest recommendation - I guarantee you will not be...

Saw the reviews on this fish and chip shop so thought I would try it based on the top reviews, the food was very disappointing the chips were soggy not even crispy and the fish was so oily and completely soggy also when should be nice golden crispy the only thing that was nice was the curry sauce. Won’t be trying this place again...
