Our visit to La Casetta was a wonderful experience that left us completely satisfied and eager to return. From the moment we arrived, the cozy atmosphere and authentic Italian charm made us feel right at home.

For our meal, we started with a perfectly baked pizza—crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The prawns were a highlight: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our little one thoroughly enjoyed a delicious serving of pasta, prepared with care and just the right balance of flavors. We paired our meal with glasses of wine, which were expertly chosen to enhance each dish. To end the evening, we indulged in a rich and creamy tiramisu that was the perfect sweet finale to a fantastic meal.

What made our evening truly special was our waitress, Cornelia. She was warm, attentive, and had a natural talent for making us feel welcome. Her knowledge of the menu was impeccable, and her recommendations, including the wine , were spot-on. Cornelia’s friendly demeanor and exceptional service made the evening even more enjoyable.

Christmas dinner here. Christmas dinner average but others had steak which was very good; there was, however, an unfortunate incident with the wine. We chose an expensive wine and the owner asked if we wanted to continue with the same wine throughout the meal, our reply was that it was too expensive but we would if there was a discount; this was agreed. We purchased 3 bottles due to this offer. On receiving the bill no discount had been applied. We did not want to make a fuss but did query with the owner. He replied that an elderly member of our party had asked to change the music from 'jingle bells' to something more Italian; he told us that 'Andrea Botticelli does not play for free'. Rude and unnecessary. We used to frequent this restaurant on a regular basis; very sad that he chose to behave in such a disrespectful manner and consequently has lost...

Went back to this restaurant after it was sold earlier this year. I didn't realise it had a new buyer but it was convenient for me that day with unexpected visitor. The food tasted different, in fact I asked if the waitress if they were new. . Then discovered she was the owner along with her husband. Hadn't been in there for 2 yrs as the freshness of the food was not up to scratch, but this time, the food was so great and they are such lovely genuine people, I have booked my birthday celebration there. You could tell it was fresh good wholesome food and my friend enjoyed hers so much. We went in for a snack type thing but ended up with 3 courses each. I'm so pleased they are on my doorstep.
