Despite saying they are dog friendly, they’re really not! After already queuing for some time, when we reached the front of the queue, we were told we couldn’t go in yet because we had our dog with us and there wasn’t a dog friendly table available. So we stood waiting whilst multiple groups of people queuing behind us, who didn’t have dogs, were let through. When we were told we could eventually go in we were told that breakfast service had just finished, and lunch wasn’t being served for another 20mins! Asked what we could order we were told coffee and cakes. On being seated, the first thing I noted was that there was no special area for dogs, it’s a wooden floor throughout, so no carpet or anything that made it not dog suitable. There was another couple with their dog, who had also been bypassed for the others without dogs, they were sat a couple of tables away. I don’t understand the concept, why were we made to wait when there’s nothing specific making an area dog friendly or non dog area?? When we left, our “dog friendly table” was given to the next people in the queue who didn’t have a dog, yet there were people behind them who did have a dog, if you’re being so specific, why didn’t they get to jump the queue?? As for the food, I can’t comment, we were offered the lunch menu which didn’t suit my requirements, the non-meat eating options were limited, and the waitress when we mentioned it was quite rude and abrupt, stating there was vegetarian options on there (I can read thanks), great if you like falafel or couscous, unfortunately I very much dislike both! So I had coffee which was nice, but left very hungry! The chap working there was unhelpful with an air of arrogance about him, and definitely couldn’t justify what had happened when asked, it was like he was making it up as he went along, we weren’t the only ones complaining either! AVOID if...

Unfortunately, this lunch was quite a disappointment. I ordered the Arkadian Chicken Salad — the chicken was extremely spicy I couldn't eat it all , more like something from an Indian restaurant, which didn’t suit the character of the salad at all and wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description.

We were seated by the window near the entrance, where people waiting in line were staring straight in at our food — it was very uncomfortable. Throughout our visit, no one from the staff came over to check on us or ask if we needed anything. I understand the team might have been busy, but the complete lack of attention made us feel completely ignored.

Sadly, this was one of the worst lunches I’ve ever had. I can’t leave a...

Had a wonderful meal here with family. Booked a pod for 6, the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Helpful with orders and any requests. Very polite and friendly manner made for a great atmosphere. Came and took orders and checked in on us throughout our meal. Food was really tasty for all, had ordered various dishes from the menu all happy with what we had. Many empty plates!! Highly impressed with the service and staff, food was just as impressive and delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit… only note to make which isn’t to do with the restaurant but the toilets available are in the garden centre which aren’t the best and could do with improvements. However doesn’t take away from a lovely time had at the...

We were given a voucher so popped along and used it. Obviously a very popular place as we had to wait a short while to be seated, guy came out, welcome'd us and showed us to our table. Very extensive menu for all tastes. Waitress promptly came and took our order. Lots of seating. Friendly staff, great food, good coffee. Highly recommend. Visited again today, all the staff very welcoming and friendly, always ready to clear tables, wait on tables and wipe up messes. Food very good and nice coffee.

Walked by the sign and were drawn in by the decent reviews. Set at the back of a garden centre and in nice surroundings. Coffees were good (Cappuccino, latte and baby chino) while Cornish Breakfast was your pretty standard fry up, tea cake was well ok and the avocado poached eggs were ok. All in all, a decent place to go with very little in walking distance but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return or visit.
