Absolutely appalling. We reserved 2 tables which they reserved in two completely different parts of the pub. We waited outside for 15 minutes before we were allowed in they took payment before we could see menus. The hygiene was no existent no ppe used tables were not wiped down and cups were dirty. Drinks where self-service in contravention of minimum safety standards.

When food finally arrived 35 minutes after it had been ordered it had been over cooked before spending at least 20 minutes under heat lamps. The cutlery was filthy and unusable.

After having to find a member of staff it took a further 10 minutes to see the manager who claimed the food was fine even though the bacon was dryer than jerky, the eggs had turned to rubber, the beans had shrivelled and were breaking open from the heat lamp and a think skin had formed where the sauce had been, the hash browns had shrivelled and the mushrooms which hadn't been cooked had also dried out. She was extremely rude and offered no apology or acknowledgement that this was not acceptable and eventually agreed to refund the meals yet still quibbled when were had to queue to get our refunds.

Just to add insult to injury we had to walk back to the entrance to sanitise then back through the pub to the exit.

This is hands down the worst experience in a pub I...

First impressions of Beefeater were good, it seemed cozy and inviting. However, that soon disappeared as it took almost ten minutes for us to be seated at a table that we had booked in advance. Said table was right by the kitchen so it was loud and throughout our meal we were interrupted a number of times by sudden crashing sounds coming from that direction. Before we had even had a chance to sit down at our slightly wobbly table, which we had to fix ourselves with a napkin, we were being asked our drink orders. After having waited so long for our table, we felt seating us had been a bit of a rush. Since they had taken our drink order before we had even managed to take our coats off, we assumed that we would be treated to somewhat fast service but that was not the case seeing as it seemed to take a while for us to actually receive our drinks. Overall, our main courses were filling and looked good. Except for the fact that the chicken and BBQ Rib combo was presented with paper between it and the plate, this caused some problems as it was difficult not to accidentally eat the paper. Dessert was nice, but the brownies were not as warm as expected. We ended our evening being served by a lovely lady called Jay but even though her friendly service was the highlight of our evening we probably won't be...

At arrival you need to register you car registration. Seated fairly quickly and given menus, and quickly chose our meals. The restaurant didn't seem that busy but we seemed to wait for ages for someone to come to even take a drink order, eventually one of us went in search a member of staff to take our orders. A few minutes later a staff member attended to our table and apologised for the wait. We ordered one starter to come with our main meals. We didn't have to wait too long when our mains arrived, and then the starter and drinks followed. The food of a cheese fondue starter, turkey meal and a mixed grill was tasty and piping hot, albeit I got the wrong chips and when pointed out they brought in addition the ones that I did order and they came out quickly. Upon completion of our meal we asked for our bill and our plates were collected the same time, and the bill duly arrived. What we did notice was that another table had not been cleared after the occupants left and was left for a while. A member of staff came to our table and noticed a card for payment and duly returned with a card machine. The initial wait to order was a bit long, made more so because of the fact that we were really hungry, but the food was good. We passed by staff as we left but no-one...

A lovely looking restaurant with ample free parking adjacent to the Premier inn where I usually have an evening meal whenever I am staying in this lovely area, the food is usually cooked ok & the service touch & go, but tonight I got looked after by an outstandingly friendly server named Abbey who went out of her way to look after me from the moment I arrived until the time I left, I can't thank her enough. Regarding the food, I had their new salmon with hollandaise sauce but at £16 I did expect a little more garnish & a few more chips, lots of tiny bones in the salmon too & many of which i swallowed, my dessert of a triple chocolate brownie was nice plus my sauvignon blanc was perfectly chilled.
