We dined in tonight. There was no evidence of any housekeeping in the restaurant area. The table we sat on was the least worse, although it was covered in sesame seeds before we even got our food. Looking around most tables were not cleaned and that is simple hygiene in a fast food establishment. Someone was restocking by the drinks but didn't clean the floor where there was straw sleeves and other rubbish. The table next to us remained uncleared for the 45 mins we were in the restaurant. Image attached. Food was slow, but I take that as a good sign, it was being cooked fresh and on the whole it was reasonable. I asked a member of staff about the "super hero box" the King Jnr meal should come with and got a dismissive response these weren't being used at present. Luckily my son accepted this but didn't really understand why. No desserts available, went in yesterday to treat the kids and none then either, hence the food rating. I now realise why we were dining alone! I should have noted all the 1 star reviews! Staff appeared to be stood around when clearly they could have been cleaning the dining area. Could be so much better with better house keeping and food availability.

Order No 906 Went to the new Burger King in Somerford Christchurch today. Staff looked manic with 3 orders on display. Was told to use self service as told we are busy to be serving on till. The food arrived cold and when home (two minutes away at hobourne estate highcliffe) the patties were ripped, tasted dry and chicken nuggets were slightly pink inside a select few. Chips and milkshake were ok. Sauce’s were not put in the bag yet stated on order. I understand that this is a new store and unsure if it is a franchise, however there should of been long term select employees from other branches at this store on a temporary basis training new employees on the go to ensure quality food is delivered to the customer. If I wanted a poor quality burger I would go to a supermarket and get a microwaveable burger, not pay £36 for 3 meals and get something that is not to standard. I have tried other Burger King Stores, Castle Lane and Bournemouth and they are far more fresh and to standard

Didn't even get to order. Pulled up at the drive through after the car in front ordered, the speaker went quiet and nobody spoke whilst we waited nearly 10 minutes. We then decided to leave so pulled forward but because the layout ended up being stuck behind 2 cars waiting for the food and couldn't leave. Another 10 minutes later someone came out to tell us and the other 8 cars queuing behind they were having problems so couldn't take orders, some managed to turn around but most had to wait for the cars infront to get their order so we could leave.

The first car, at this point had already been waiting probably 20 minutes, took another 5 minutes to get their order. Then the next car moved up and waited nearly 5 minutes before someone came to take their payment then were handed food.

Overall, us and many others were queuing in a drive through for the best part of half an hour without having ever ordered or received any food.

I know this is a new restaurant, but Burger King isn't a new business. Its been around for 70 years, and when you're opening a branch less than a 1 minute drive from a well established McDonald's thats been running for over 30 years, you'd expect them to hit the ground running to try and get customers in.

Based on the reviews I've read, and my experience I can't see this location doing very well. It seems its being run by inexperienced staff who are slow and not capable of putting together a simple fast food order.

It simply shouldn't of taken the manager nearly 20 minutes from the moment they started experiencing troubles with orders to come and tell a long queue of cars about the issue. Also I wouldn't class this as fast food, as I've had meals in proper restaurants made faster than it took for the staff to provide the first car...

Absolutely terrible 😞 We had a drive through yesterday 2nd/ 5 /23. Late evening we spoke to the pre order voice menu/ order point and was asked to go to checkout 2. Where we waited an over expected time for such a small order. Then we were told to drive around without our food to the front carpark, that we did and waited and waited it would have seemed a frustrating amount of time so I went into the front to find out what has happened to our order. After speaking with someone they said something about not having the product and they will bring it outside to us i aks for some tomatoe sauce to be added. We waited in the car park, when a server came to the car apologies and said because you have waited so long the manager will refund you your money. So I went back in to the front serving point and waited no one was coming to server me, they seems to ignore me, then the manager appears, I explained what the server had said regarding the refund, He said I'm not giving a refund you have had your food 🙃 I'm now not at all happy. And I had noticed he was preparing food with his bare hands ✋️ not good enough. And no tomatoe sauce!!!

I will not go there again. Stay away...
