The Squirrel's Pantry Cafe and Tearoom — Restaurant in England

Me and the wife recently found this place by chance, we are from Liverpool and was heading for our caravan in North lakes. Wow what a lovely cafe best we have ever been to. We have had a light lunch on a couple of occasions now. The food is amazingly fresh and delicious, the cakes and coffee are to die for. We bring in our two little dogs Teddie and Paisley and they love it here, the staff make a real fuss of them. The surrounding area of the cafe is just natural beauty all around you. But i will save the best till last. THE STAFF are amazing friendly, cheerful and polite and also have a great sense of humour. We love coming to this little piece of heaven. Well done to you all. After discovering Squirrels Pantry whilst on holiday, we have now been back twice and seen their beautiful red squirrel both times! We sat in the outside seating area both times and are mesmerised by how much wildlife there is on their feeders, from the Nuthatch to Chaffinch and Robins and of course the squirrels! Food and drink both beautiful and all the staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back the next time we are down...

Really friendly staff and fantastic food. The soup of the day chorizo and kale was the best if had! Family friendly. Good high chairs and baby changing table. Very good coffee. Will be back soon to try the cakes which looked great but we were full from the massive soup and bread. My children had ham and cheese ciabattas and they were very happy with them.
