Trackside Cafe and bar — Restaurant in England

Lovely food what we ate of it before being rudely spoken to by the owner. Table of 14 13 paying people, 11 adults 2 children who choose from the adult menu and 1 child eating a sandwich made at home due to allergies and sensory issues The owner walked past point in my 10 Year olds face and shouted "you can't eat that here. Your not allowed to eat that." Embarrassing and singled him out in front of a restraunt of people. He just sat stunned and shyd away from being picked on. We tried explaining his issues and even tried paying for a meal that they never had to cook so he could stay and join in the family meal. All they kept saying is "we allowed your children in here, they have taken up a paying customers place." Like children ain't allowed in? Yet they were booked on and paid for. A 4 and 6 year old had a full adult meal each Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards a innocent child No child regardless of additional needs should be spoken to like that. If they had had a quiet word with a adult explaining that food from home isn't allowed to be eaten, we would have understood. But they pointed and spoke rudely and...

We have been going in trackside cafe for a couple of years now but unfortunately we will not be going in ever again went in today friday 6th August 2021 at 11-30 for our breakfast which it states breakfast till 12-00 sat down waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order she said just a minute went away and served food to another table then came back to us at 11-45 and informed us breakfast as finished very annoyed don't state breakfast is served till 12 00 then say we have finished serving breakfast was in at 11-30 very annoyed been going in there for a couple of years buy we will not be going in again and will tell our friends family and colleagues...

This is the second time I have eaten here; just lovely! I had a ploughman’s with chips and I wanted to exchange the meat which was fully endorsed; nothing was too much trouble. The ploughman’s was beautiful, so much choice, thank you! The music is nice and just the right volume; nice easy listening. The place is clean and looks new, although I know it isn’t, so clearly very high standards of hygiene;; very well maintained.
