1 star because I couldn't choose 0. Went here after the landlord from a close by pub had a heart attack and tried to get a table. Although loads of tables available the woman in charge didn't even try to be friendly. She refused us a table early in the evening when we had just finished work and when I took a photo she demanded to know why and when I said I'll do a review she snorted and had a really disgusting attitude. Awful person. Pub looks great but run by an awful woman who makes it miserable and a place to avoid entirely. If you want to be in hospitality, put a smile on darling. Went to the Waggon today for the football, was immediately asked to leave without even being able to grab a pint, the night was for ‘locals’ only. I’ve grown up in And around Barton most of my life and went to the waggon for the third week in a row to watch the football whilest they were not even that busy (spending £150-200/night). Bit of a sucker punch having booked a table the week before and then being told to leave upon arriving 30 mins before kickoff. I’ll definately be taking my business elsewhere….. Never have I been spoken to in such a rude manner nor will I...
