Food was good and at a reasonable price, the only small issue was the girl serving, although helpful she was very glum and it felt a bit awkward even asking for a serviette. I’ve worked with the public for the last 30 years and even if you have an off day you need to hide it.

Our first Cornish pasties and they didn’t disappoint! We took them to Porthgwarra Cove to eat them. I don’t typically eat onions or much meat but it was good. Almost opted for chicken but wanted authentic!

Staff were very rude when we made our order and seemed generally annoyed by customers. I would describe the vibe as “aggy”. We ordered two traditional Cornish pasties, one large and one medium size. Both were on the expensive side for pasties in Cornwall - you can get them much cheaper elsewhere. We were surprised to discover that the filling of each was a completely different colour and taste in each case: the medium was a strange reddish colour (not what you would expect for a Cornish pasty), while the large one was a very dull grey. There was also very little meat in either, they were stuffed with potato mostly. Pastry was dry. Only giving two stars because it was “technically” a pasty and they fill a hole if you’re hungry. Only came here because we were looking for a pasty in the area and this was the only thing that came up on Google - we later discovered however that there were pasty shops at Lands End and Sennen Cove which were unlisted on Google. I’d take my chances at either of those if I had my time again, and avoid the nasty pasty travesty...

Thank you so much for helping me make my wedding anniversary special today. With my husband being hundreds of miles away from me, performing in a play, I had no idea how I could celebrate with him. Phoning you was the best decision I could have made. You were very friendly, listened kindly to my unusual request and advised me on the best products for the budget I had in mind, so that I could buy a range of items for him to share with the cast and crew. The feedback from them all was overwhelmingly positive. I was assured that all of the cakes and tray bakes were absolutely delicious. It all went down extremely well indeed. Thank you so very much for your friendliness, kindness, helpfulness, professionalism and...

Great little bakery in the middle of the village, parking outside if you can get a space. Very clean and tidy and the staff very friendly, recently purchased a pastie and drink for my wife and me as we were visiting while on holiday. Piping hot and very enjoyable, as we sat outside on picnic tables, lovely hot and cold food available and we were very tempted by buns and cakes on offer but unfortunately we were too full to participate on this occasion. Would definitely visit again when we are...
