Waterfront Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in England

After reading all reviews of this place, we were very much looking forward to Sunday lunch here, however it was very disappointing. There were three people behind the bar, but somehow they seemed to be very slow at serving the customers, me and my boyfriend included. If we didn't have a table booked, we would've just left. After ordering our food, the starters came out pretty much straight away, however, it took around 40 minutes for the main meal to come out which is quite a gap in between starters and the main. Unfortunately the main course was not the best roast I've had. The meat was rather dry, and the roast potatoes were overdone to the point they they burnt and very crispy. None of the staff came up to us while we were eating to check if everything was ok. We were both hungry, so we just ate the meal, but it was cemented in us at that point that we were not going to be going back. It's a real shame as I can imagine that it's really beautiful there in the summer. I don't know if we simply had an off day with the staff and the chef not being on par, and unfortunately we wouldn't recommend this...

What an amazing experience! Treated my mum to afternoon tea and we were blown away. The quality of the food, sweet and savoury, that was on offer is outstanding! From start to finish we were so well looked after, staff were attentive and couldn’t do enough, to ensure our experience was 5*. The outside pods are especially cute, very cosy and so warm. I was concerned, being a chilly November day we may have needed blankets but we were so toasty and content. Please support the team and pay a visit, so much on offer from steak nights to Sunday lunch, it would be a damn shame to loose such an asset to Medway, let’s face it there’s not much to shout about in this area, so when you find an absolute gem such as Tan & Tass’s offerings we must sing their praises from the highest! Brought the family here and with a great atmosphere and such delicious food, i cant help but rave about it. The view is just what you need to truly belive your on holiday and the whole team are SHAMAZING! anyone wants a fantastic memory with totally delicious and diverse menu and surroundings to really make that cold beer or what ever your tipple is taste that bit mire refreshing then I seriously suggest you try the Waterfront Bar and Restaurant out.
