Wenzel's the Bakers — Restaurant in England

Awful bakery. 70% of the time something is wrong with my order. Prices are much higher than Greggs and I'm genuinely not sure how this business still exists.

When you order a breakfast roll and ask for butter, its actually margarine because the chain is too cheap for real butter. Their bread is really bland, especially the Sourdough. I recently had to argue with an employee at this particular store about the breakfast deal as they tried to overcharge me on my usual order. I once stood in line next to a lady that returned her coffee because the milk had gone off in the machine. The Cornish pasty is 90% potato filling and 2% meat. It's not uncommon to be served a pasty with no filling either. I could go on for hours...

This business plagues all of Herts & Bedfordshire. I hope one day a Gregg's or even a Gail's opens up shop next door and runs this business to the ground. Genuinely no thought or consideration of the consumer. Wenzels is the epitome of poor management and greedy...

Disgusting!!! After 2 years of coming in this branch today I thought I saw everything. The lady that was selling she was preparing to put some frozen baguettes in the oven and one dropped...without any hesitation she pricked it up, put in the tray and back in the oven . And then I am supposed to eat them sandwiches??? Ohh so it's no wonder if I get any sort of bacteries or God knows what. I can't stop thinking what is happening in the back of the store. Really shame! I will not buy again from here even if that will mean to drive 10...

No sauce for bacon roll at Radlett and a very over cooked and dry sausage roll at chalfont both today.It would appear that your quality of service that was always good service is going down hill. I used Simon's at chisel Green yesturday. It outstripped Wenzels in every way possible. If you want to keep custom then you need to keep on top of your game.
