The staff are lovely. Went here as two adults , £30 near enough for one drink each and one meal each. So pricing isn't too bad. Ordered: 8oz sirloin steak which came with chips, onion rings, grilled tomato and button mushrooms and chose the peppercorn sauce The plate came out sizzling. Sadly that's where the positives end. My steak had so much fat and gristle that only half could be eaten, if that. The onion rings were soggy and had a very odd aftertaste. The peppercorn sauce could hardly be called peppercorn. It was very thin and lacked flavour. The chips were coated in some sort of fat leaving a bad taste in the mouth. The second meal was fish and chips with garden peas. - the fish was essentially dissolving on itself, and in areas looked very raw. My friend is vegetarian/halal. His chips looked like they were the same as mine and coated in some sort of fat. The tartar sauce was miniscule to say the least, maybe a teaspoon. Overall it was really not good food. The place seems to have locals and they like what they like. Personally is not for me.and will not return. I suggest it definitely needs an update as there is so much 'spillage' on the walls and the radiators are filled with dust, webs and whatever else. So we were left disappointed.

We had a fantastic experience at The Wigmore Arms in Luton yesterday. The lunch time special of fish and chips was superb—the fish was tender and juicy, easily one of the best I've ever had.The real standout, however, was our waitress, Shelly. She was the only person working the front of house and single-handedly managed the bar and dining area with incredible professionalism and efficiency. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a smile and made sure to check on us to see if our food was okay. Even during a peak rush, where more than a dozen customers were queuing, she remained calm, friendly, and in complete control. What really impressed us was her constant, meticulous work ethic. When she wasn't serving, she was running around filling up condiments and tidying tables. She was so non-stop that we even saw a regular customer, Owen, volunteer to help her clear glasses, and she thanked him by name. Shelly is truly an asset to the pub, and her exceptional service made our visit a delight.

Always a warm welcome and amazing service from T and Kaylem. They will always tell us what events are coming up. Came for a drink and was convinced to stay for food after seeing all the food flying out the door. We weren’t disappointed! New menu is amazing! The new burger is mouth watering! Can’t say we’ve ever had a bad meal here. Looking forward to trying the rest of the new menu. 100% recommend

Really friendly place. Mainly looked like it catered to locals so not a destination pub but it was very clean.

Sports on TVs so great to watch with friends. Group of friends were a bit load and sweary but not excessively offensive. I would say great for kids over 9.

Food and drinks service was attentive and quick. Our dietary requirements were met with ease (nut allergy). All the food was presented and made with care and was really tasty. It didn't all come out quite at the same time but only had 5 mins between servings so not bad.

App is easy to use and convenient rather then waiting in a bar queue.

Toilet obviously are cared for as they were very clean. Soap, loo roll and working hand dryers all available.

Staff really did try to keep the space clean and tidy. It was noticed that they were cleaning tables, menus and the condiments, which all had clean and up to date labels re used by dates (well done, often missed). They smiled greeted and checked on us multiple times during our meal. Great service.

Overall a really nice local pub with friendly and helpful staff.

Would go...
