Chilli Pickle — Restaurant in Epping Forest

So dissapointed! I wrote a 5 star review previously. We used to visit this place, and order delivery at least once a week. We ordered a delivery, and waited over an hour a couple of weeks ago. When the food arrived, our Fish Vindaloo was inedible. Hard and burnt fish, with sauce poured ontop. I called to complain, and I was told that because they were busy, they would discount our next order. I wasnt satisfied, but we kind of got to know the people by now, so, I didn't want to kick off. I've just placed another order, I thought I'd give them another shot. Food is fab! We come to Waltham Abbey every year for Royal Gunpowder Mills VE day re-enactment and every year on the bank holiday Sunday we take a pilgrimage to Chilli Pickle who are always so welcoming as we don't book and can be up to 15 of us at a time - this year we were a reduced number of 8 but as always they had the space to accommodate us - would definitely recommend if in the area! The food was nice and fresh, but….not enough taste. I have been to White Chapel a few time, and the food was different. I could feel more taste. This one feel like they haven’t put enough spices.
