The Crown — Restaurant in Epping Forest

Would of been higher but no fault to the workers this pub is filled with hostel alcoholics that start fights on people because we booked a table and they didn't know you can do that. Offering one of our group to fight and screaming he's a tax payer and blah blah blah . We are a small group that go and play dnd once a month on a table we book and we buy food and drink everytime. We won't be coming back now as we realise that repeat abusive druggy locals get more accommodation then respectful decent people just trying to have a nice night. Unless your a local who lives in there 24 7 I wouldn't recommend going for a nice drink or food , especially don't book the tables because that's a big no no according to the local gear heads. So here's a tale. We were told about a pub called the crown so we went here for a pint and it was a bit early for dinner so we moved on. The roast looked amazing and the drinks and atmosphere was nice. Anyway out friend's said we went to the wrong one and sire enough a posh one not far away was where we should if gone. The service here was truly outstanding, to the point that when I called the kitchen had closed 10 minutes earlier but the Landlady kindly offered to cook for us.
