Terrible service! Average food. We arrived and were left standing for 5/10 mins before any staff member acknowledged us. Then without even a smile an unfriendly waiter showed us to our table. Then we were left for another 10 mins before I managed to grab their attention to order some drinks this time a younger waiter looked put out, again no smile, nothing! he struggled to comprehend a beer a cider and 2 diet cokes! then another 10 mins before we received these drinks again no smile no apology for waiting. by contrast when we ordered the food to the older waiter, again no smile, the food came very quick! it was average at best even ok at a push. we finished our starters and both the older and younger waiters both looked at our table but did not clear our plates until I told them we were finished and could we have more drinks? again the younger waiter looked put out by this! the pizza was ok , i've had much much better. People on these reviews seem to like it if the portions are big. Well yes it is big . go here and you will get a big average pizza if that's what you want?! we could not wait to leave. Then to add insult to injury I asked both the younger and older waiters for the bill this took another 10 mins for the younger still grumpy with no smile to return and say you need to pay cash as the rain as stopped our internet!!! I said I don't have cash and I told him they should of told us on our arrival that we had to pay cash. the younger waiter then told me but you walk down the road to the cashpoint and get some cash! as if that makes it ok!? I said to him first he should of told us but then I asked him how much the bill was? he said I don't know! and i said I need to know how much cash to get he then walked away shaking his head!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR...

We have been here many times before but ordered a take away on Saturday from here instead as it was to late to go out with my 7 month old daughter. We placed our order over the phone which the lady told us would be half an hour only to go and collect our food and be told we don’t take orders over the phone you have to come in so we placed order then and was told 10-15. 45 minutes later and many occasion of talking to the owner he told us that our food was not ready as we were only take away customers and not sitting in! He said he had prioritised them and not done our food! I was disgraced at how he could talk to us the way he did and was very annoyed and upset after waiting over an hour we was still no closer to our food! After much back and forth he gave us our pizzas for free but only because they had been sitting now stone cold for 20 minutes on the side and then asked the chef to cook our food! It’s such a shame as the food is lovely but if the owner thinks that in an appropriate way to treat any customer we will not be returning there again. He stated that he is restaurant owner not a take away business, to which I replied then why would you accept take away...

Having had good meals and service in the past, after my experience with 3 other friends last night, I doubt I'll be back. The tables are packed in so tightly that if you happen to have the misfortune to be sitting next to a table of people who want the whole restaurant to hear their conversation, it makes for a very unpleasant experience. The service was appalling. Ice put in drinks when we specifically asked for it not to be, and had to ask twice for tap water. However, the worst thing was the length of time we had to wait between finishing our starters and the main course arriving (about 45 minutes). I asked when they were coming 3 times, being told in a couple of minutes. I said I expected something off the bill. Not only did we not get this, when asked if everything had been ok, the head waiter seemed surprised when I said no! He talked over me with excuses while I was trying to say what we were unhappy with. No word of apology at any time and he then had the gall to say they hadn't added a service charge, when it says quite clearly on the menu that a service charge is added to parties...
