Julie's at Stonards — Restaurant in Epping Forest

Perfectly placed at Stonards Park for either watching the kids playing tennis, shooting hoops, running around the field or using the bike/board ramps.

Usually have coffee but had some eats today. Blown away. Quality is incredible. When serving a simple dish (avocado on toasted sour dough and a plate of chips in this case) there is nothing to hide behind... ingredients and preparation are either spot on or they are not.

The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the dishes were prepared to the highest standard. Went to Julie afterwards to let her and the team know. The chips are the best I have ever had...end of.

The staff are very friendly and approachable. Serving time quite reasonable bearing in mind everything is freshly prepared. And I didn't feel ripped off with the pricing.

Dogs are very welcome with a water bowl available and Julie does a "Doggychino" which is whipped cream with a sprinkling of dog biscuits which is a great occasional treat.

Only 10 mins walk from St Margaret's hospital Epping. Handy if hospital cafe shut & a bit of exercise to the stonnards hill Rec & fields.

Take table tennis bats & ball or draughts/chess set, to play on the new additions of concrete (or is it recycled plastic etc?) Also boules & tennis & skateboard part & swings etc.

A fresh little cafe that's popped up opposite the playground in the field. Great for families with kids or people walking dogs in the nearby fields. The set menu is mostly classic cafe items and is very reasonable, and there are some more adventurous specials.
