I recently had the pleasure of dining at ASK Italian, a charming Italian restaurant renowned for its authentic cuisine and delightful atmosphere.
Upon perusing the menu, I couldn't resist the allure of their handmade pasta dishes. As a pasta enthusiast, I had high expectations, and I must say, ASK Italian did not disappoint.
I started my culinary journey with a plate of their delicate and perfectly cooked handmade pasta. The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite, and the first bite confirmed that I was in for a treat. The pasta was cooked to perfection, boasting a tender yet al dente texture that showcased the craftsmanship that goes into their dishes.
I opted for a classic Bolognese sauce to accompany my pasta, and it was a true delight. The rich, flavorful sauce was a harmonious blend of tomatoes, herbs, and tender ground meat, perfectly coating each strand of pasta. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling satisfied and content.
The attention to detail and dedication to quality were evident in every aspect of the meal. The flavors were authentic, transporting me to the heart of Italy with every bite. The service was attentive, and the staff's passion for Italian cuisine shone through their recommendations and warm hospitality.
While savoring my meal, I couldn't help but appreciate the inviting ambiance of the restaurant. The rustic decor, soft lighting, and cozy seating created a warm and intimate atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, my experience at ASK Italian was nothing short of exceptional. The handmade pasta surpassed my expectations, and I left the restaurant with a newfound appreciation for Italian cuisine. I wholeheartedly recommend ASK Italian to anyone in search of an authentic Italian dining experience accompanied by superbly crafted pasta dishes.

Read moreThis is an honest review about my general experience. I’ve been into the restaurant many times and a couple of times it was let down by a female waitress who had a serious attitude, on two occasions. I did tell the Manager who genuinely wanted to understand my experience and asked me to tell him the truth when I was hesitant. He listened attentively and it didn’t happen again.
The food is lovely and my fussy children both love it. The lemonade, desserts and the sharing board are gorgeous. The olive oil bread with balsamic & olive oil is divine.
Today I ordered via Uber eats and half of my food was missing. I called the restaurant and complained. The manager Mehmet made me a whole new order, I came to collect it, he kept me updated with progress and gave this to us on the house. He came outside of the restaurant to give this to us personally. I was really grateful for this. He remembered me from before, even though it’s been ages since we’ve been into the restaurant. Mehmet has the customer’s best interests at heart, puts our experience over money, values our custom and goes out of his way to put inevitable mistakes (when relying on others) right. He has an excellent service manner and I will go back again and again because I trust that I’m valued as a customer and we love the food.
We have been to Italy & eaten at many Italian restaurants. I would say the food is on a respectable level of quality and flavour.
On my daughter’s bday, I ordered food from Coco Di mama which is situated within the restaurant but I made a mistake with my order. When I called to ask if they could help, they kindly sent an additional pasta dish for her birthday, with Happy Birthday on the box.
Their mid-week promotions on Ubereats are very good. Today we got a free pizza with our order.
I’ve given 5 stars because overall, they’ve provided excellent service and I do believe they deserve this rating. Thank you Mehmet for your...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend decided to have an impromptu meal out before heading to the cinema. We were greeted in a very nice manner and they provided a nice seating area.
After we had sat down the waiter promptly provided their home made lemonade and took our drinks order.
Shortly after this we placed our order via the QR code that was displayed on the menu. A kind waitress came over to ensure we had ordered and if we needed anything further. To which we told her that we had ordered via the QR code.
Roughly 25/30 minutes went by without any sign of our food. We asked the waiter roughly how much longer the food was going to take. To which he shared his apologies and informed us that he would get his manager to help resolve the issue at hand.
The manager explained that they had two large tables to see to prior to our food. I totally understand the pressure they were facing. I would have however appreciated a member of staff informing us that there may be a slight delay with food. The manager kindly offered to provide a hand written note offering a free main meal next time we came in. This was something that we thought was beyond generous.
Once my meal had come out we had to wait a further 3/4 mins for my girlfriends food to come out.
After the meal, heading home I realised that for some strange reason the chefs decided to "garnish" my risotto with thyme, as apposed to the traditional parsley. There was no indication of a garnish on the menu, but very particular that it was with thyme.
Overall the experience was okay. I'm in no rush to head back there. I believe that the situation was handled professionally by the manager to...
