We have been loyal customers of this place for a long time, ordering three to four times a week. At first, the food was consistently great, and we always looked forward to our meals. However, over time, the quality has gone downhill. At first, we ignored small issues, assuming they were just one-off mistakes, but lately, it has become a pattern. Today’s order was by far the worst, and we were so disappointed that we couldn’t even eat it.
The biggest issue was that the chicken tikka arrived completely cold. When ordering a dish like this, you expect it to be fresh and hot, but it felt like it had been sitting around for ages before being packed for delivery. This isn’t the first time we’ve noticed problems with temperature, but today it was worse than ever. Cold food is not only unpleasant to eat, but it also raises concerns about freshness and food safety.
On top of that, the food itself just didn’t taste right. It seemed rushed, poorly prepared, or possibly made with old ingredients. One of the most frustrating parts of the meal was the sauce. I had specifically requested extra sauce, but instead of adding a reasonable amount, it felt like someone had poured an entire bottle onto the food. It was completely overpowering and ruined the meal. To make matters worse, I didn’t ask for garlic sauce, yet they added it anyway. This shows a complete lack of attention to customer requests. When people place an order, they expect their preferences to be followed, not ignored.
Another major issue is the inconsistency between in-store and online orders. The one time I ordered in person, the food was fantastic—hot, fresh, and made with care. However, every time we order online, the quality is noticeably worse. It feels like online customers are treated as less important, which is frustrating when we are paying the same price. Even the bread sometimes tastes old, which makes us wonder if fresh ingredients are only used for in-store orders. This lack of consistency is unacceptable, especially for loyal customers who order regularly.
It’s a real shame because we used to love this place. We kept ordering because we believed in the quality of their food, but after so many disappointing experiences, we’re losing trust. Today’s meal was the worst yet, and it was a complete waste of money. No one wants to spend money on food they can’t even eat.
We really hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and makes improvements. If they can return to the quality they used to provide, we would love to continue ordering. However, if things don’t change, we’ll have no choice but to look elsewhere. A restaurant should value consistency and customer satisfaction, but unfortunately, that has been missing lately.
This experience was incredibly disappointing, and unless things improve, they risk losing more...
Read moreHad a mixed shawarma from there! The fiasco getting it actually to my door was almost funny!! I get a phone call and I can hardly understand the poor fella trying to deliver to me!! Don’t think he understood me !! Any how he gets me to come out and shout hello so he can see where I am, thought this was some kinda tv program or prank being played on me. After numerous shout of hello no show. I go back in and get my phone to ring him he says he’s outside can’t I see him? No!! I said gave him my address again and told him he is in the wrong road. Hold on hold on he says!! Then a fella comes in the line with a broad Scots accent!! I’m being had over here I’m thinking!! Where are you he said I’m in my close!! He knows it and directs the driver to me!! When he turns up he looks and sounds like Manuel from forty towers. He’s a nice bloke was just a bit lost in this area . I get my food still quite warm surprisingly.. Now I open my food and it’s all wrapped up in foil keeping the heat in fine by me. Now this has come highly recommended to me !! First of all it’s in a lovely loaf of bread style lots of fresh tasty salad !! The lofted meat was superb the chicken was tasteless and dry hence half the kebab went into the bin!! Decent effort but there was far to much chilli sauce which made it mess a solid6.3 from 10 for me can do...
Read moreI am absolutely shocked by the experience I’ve had this evening. I went to the door to get my food where I was met with a delivery driver who was abruptly waving the receipt at me, telling me to explain to him why I have had a refund from them in the past. This was very intimidating considering it’s dark & I’m pregnant so really don’t need a man having a go at me. I don’t believe if my partner had gone to the door he would have been spoken too in the same way. Not only did I get this behaviour from the delivery driver but he then made me speak with someone else on the phone before I was aloud the food - food that I had already paid for!! The person on the phone told me not to ask for a refund again and despite me explaining the refund I had was due to them being too busy to deliver, he continued to tell me there is no reason to ask for refunds because their food is always perfect and when I said the food isn’t always great he told me it is. There is a real lack of customer service here.
I am quite angry that someone has come to my home and made me feel this way. I ordered a meal, not a telling off. Please think about the way you talk to people in future, particularly when approaching women in this manner as it concerns me how someone more vulnerable may be left feeling if you do...
