Tea Hut Epsom Downs — Restaurant in Epsom and Ewell

My favourite place around. Comfort food at its finest, fresh and made with love by Kiosk Kieth! The charitable work the Tea Hut does makes the cause almost as appealing as the food itself. Prices are brilliant, cash only being a minor inconvenience but aided by the Cash machine at Tattenham Corner Co-op shop. Greasy butties, sandwiches, chips, burgers, pastries and confectionaries offer the ideal menu for a shack on the downs. Car park behind if you're coming just for the food too. Keith is lovely and easy to talk to, and regularly end up chatting to other customers as we patiently wait for scrumptious sandwiches.

I was pleasantly surprised to find myself at Epsom Downs just a few short minutes after driving off Cheam. I wish I had more time to stop and see the sights or even that it was a race day so I could see the magnificent horses up close.. but maybe another day. The Tea Hut was a good start though and they serve lovely ice cream, a life saver on a hot summer day. I suspect I will be extending this review if I am able to come back and see the sights properly, given that the little I had time to see looked lovely. Its a good place for dog walks and jogs and though I'm not sure if they allow picnics but if they did, definitely pick your spot here and enjoy your time surrounded by beatiful...

I love this little tea hut on the downs. The gentlemen that works there ( I think he owns it) is super friendly. I love all the sweet treats, and he makes a good cuppa. It feels so olde worlde which again I love as you don’t get many places that give you a smile, take cash only and say god bless after each order.
