Pattison’s & Raul’s — Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

Whilst waiting for an appointment we decided to pop into this coffee shop due to the good reviews and unfortunately we were left disappointed.

We chose to have a coffee and a sweet treat. Some of the bakery goods are pre-packaged such as a doonut (!) And the Bakewell tart and some were in the counter. The cookie was ok, but the choc chip shortbread had been sitting for a while and had taken on the taste of the smell of cooked food, which was very unpleasant.

The coffee was mediocre at best. The children's babychinos were made to a good temperature and came with marshmallows that they loved.

I also feel the place needed a good clean, around the white table edges were old spilt drinks etc and although we didn't use them, the ketchup and brown sauce dispensers were grubby.

I will say that the staff were really attentive, helpful and welcoming. Just a shame that the establishment let's...

A rare find nowadays where breakfast is just breakfast and not a big brunch. The portion sizes are not extravagant, but with pure quality food being served the portion sizes are actually perfect. Slight issues with adding in extras to your plate, as popular sides such as Black Pudding and Bubble&Squeak are not on the menu despite being available to ask (for £1 which is a steal). The store is due to move locations up the street so one would assume this will be reprimanded once this has been completed.

For the quality of food, as well as impeccable serving and leaving with a full belly; £9 for the Jumbo breakfast (includes basic drink+toast) was a bargain, and will certainly be back. Only thing that could be an issue is space (at current location) but was not an issue...

I now go to Pattison's regularly after discovering it a few weeks ago. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. I am always impressed with the service here. There is a good selection of sandwiches and cakes; a great place for lunch or meeting friends. I have also used them to cater for my recent baby shower; not only were the sandwiches great (many friends and family commented how good they were), but they also talked through ideas of what else they are able to make/provide, and at a reasonable price too. They freshly made all the sandwiches themselves and delivered to my door. Will definitely be using them again for other events...
