El Rincon Spanish Restaurant & Tapas — Restaurant in Reigate and Banstead

FABULOUS!.... Everything was fabulous - the atmosphere, the food, the service, the price! Although my husband has been here several times with business and golfing partners for various group celebrations, this was my first visit and I was genuinely greatly impressed. I had heard many good reports from hubby, but had not paid much attention, as he is not a "foodie" in any shape or form, and rather attributed his praises to the quantities of vino consumed! How wrong I was. The food menu offers a tantalising variety of Spanish tastes and flavours and the wine menu is carefully limited to suit both pocket and palate. And as for the sweet trolley!!!!!!.... to die for... plates of heaven on wheels! I apologise now for the length of time it took me to finalise my choice, I fancied them all! The service was also superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff, who made this culinary experience such a true pleasure. Thank you all SO much! This is a MUST VISIT place, even if you need to travel (as we did from Guildford)... a wonderful taste of real Spain without the hassle of flights and packing!! :-)

I now know why this place is Epsom's Number 1 restaurant! My husband’s family are Spanish, so we all have high standards! This place met all of our expectations and exceeded them. Carlos and Jose were amazing from the beginning to the end. My daughter celebrated her 6th b-day with the family. I had numerous calls to check on everything and they even called again to ensure all of our food orders were taken care of before our arrival. The Octopus, the Piri Piri Prawns, the croquettes and the Paella was fresh, flavoursome and all well-cooked. The vegetarian and Kids options were EXCELLENT! We had two tables of 5 and all of us commented on the OUTSTANDING service and care. They are naturals at their job and deliver at high standards. Carlos and Joe are simply amazing hosts! We have been frequenting this restaurant for years and every time had amazing service! Nothing is too much trouble, and the food is simply divine. You can tell the love and passion that goes into this family business, everything from the menu to the dining experience. During the COVID pandemic when safe to operate, El Rincon offered a full takeaway service. Whilst it was a shame not to have the full experience (completely out of everyone’s hands!) the food was superb and full of flavour.
