Decided we would give this place a try, we pass by there most days. As my mother and I walked through the doorway we were greeted by very loud music. I asked the lady for a menu then we sat at a table away from the very loud speaker. We took a look at the menu and noticed there were no prices on the menu. I also looked at the menu blackboards next to the counter, they too had no prices. I thought this was very strange. In fact I’ve never been in any coffee shops before today that have no prices displayed. I politely asked the lady why there are no prices displayed anywhere. She replied by saying she didn’t know. I asked her how are we supposed to know how much our meal is going to cost and that she could possibly make any price up as and when she felt. She didn’t reply. Until there is a price list displayed in the shop or on the menus and the music is turned down to a reasonable level, I’m sorry to say we won’t be returning to this...

Service has been good the majority of times but no chit chat and their teenage son (assumed) was playing on his phone looking after the counter, admittedly once. The atmosphere is stunning, from the road it's very unassuming but beautiful inside. I was disappointed initially that the cakes were from Costco but they've improved these and they look lovely and inviting now. The scrambled eggs have been beautiful but were anaemic last time I went, might have been a one off again. Prices are good. Overall, good coffee shop...
Read moreJust visited this brand new coffee shop in Sawley to try the coffee and cake. We had a very nice latte and americano plus slices of Victoria sponge. Owner was very friendly and nice to chat to and the room is pleasant to sit in. Looking forward to visiting again and trying other menu items...
