I had my birthday lunchout here so Vito will be memorable. I have been wanting to dine at this place since I started visiting Fareham town center. It was reinforced when a lady said to me that this place is lovely. Tried it out for ourselves and indeed it was. My partner had the lounger burger with extra patty. He said it was okay. Patty was mildly seasoned. I had the bang bang chicken noodles. It was egg noodles with a bangbang coconut sauce ( i didnt taste the coconutty sauce too much but I liked how it tasted like Filipino style pancit/noodles) It had vegetables that were crunchy and added texture to the dish. The chicken portion size was okay. I also had some churros to fill up the dessert closet inside my tummy. It was great. I enjoyed it plain with sugar and cinnamon sprinkles. The dipping sauces were served on the side (caramel and chocolate) I love that we can order online through a QRcode and they serve the meals once its ready. 30-40mins. Not too vad since the place was packed. I had the watermelon iced tea and it passed the tropical vibes for me. ❤️ My partner had an iced coffee - nothing special but he finished it. Will try this place out again :) - the loo is upstairs. - It is very near fareham bus stop. So if you plan do drink and dine, that makes it a lot easier. ☆Star rating☆ Price 5/5✨️ Food 4/5✨️ Ambiance 5/5✨️ Service 5/5✨️ Location 5/5✨️

Querky lounge. Good ambience Service was fine though not warm, just functional and slightly detached I was thrown off a bit when asked if I wanted tomato ketchup with my caesar salad 🥗 😂😂😂 Salads are a good indicator of chef ability as often, they are thrown together with little finesse or skill This caesar was 'ok'. It lacked anchovies, even though I requested at ordering. Not sure I saw any dijon in their either The dressing was excessive and led to the leaves just being a floppy mess. I would not order it again I get the feeling that the food is good if you order the routine or signature dishes

The meals for two people took 45 minutes to arrive, and I found the house slaw to be very disappointing. The chicken was quite greasy, which suggested it was deep-fried at too low a temperature. I left feeling dissatisfied. While the staff worked hard and tried to make things right by offering more coleslaw, it was too late by then. Call me old-fashioned, but I expect any meal I pay for to be cooked well and presented nicely. Unfortunately, that was not the case here; I probably should have gone to the McDonald's across the street instead.

If you're living with coeliac disease, finding a restaurant that not only offers gluten-free options but also understands the importance of safety and taste can be a rare and joyous discovery. Vito Lounge in Fareham stands out as a beacon of inclusivity and culinary excellence, particularly for those who require a gluten-free diet.

A Haven for Coeliacs

Vito Lounge's commitment to catering to gluten-free diners is evident from the moment you glance at their menu. They offer a separate gluten-free menu that spans breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, ensuring that everyone has a variety of delicious options to choose from. Items such as burgers, sandwiches, fries, and even indulgent desserts are available, all prepared with the utmost care to prevent cross-contamination.

The Burger Experience

For many with coeliac disease, finding a gluten-free burger that doesn't compromise on taste or texture is a challenge. Vito Lounge excels in this area, offering a gluten-free burger bun that closely mimics the traditional wheat-based version. The bun holds together beautifully, providing that satisfying bite without falling apart—a common issue with many gluten-free alternatives. Paired with a juicy patty and fresh toppings, it's a comforting and fulfilling meal that rivals any gluten-containing burger.

Safety First

Dining out as a coeliac can be daunting, but Vito Lounge takes the necessary precautions to ensure your safety. The staff are well-trained in allergen awareness, and orders are handled with care. When placing a gluten-free order, it's recommended to speak directly with the manager, who will ensure that your meal is prepared separately and flagged appropriately. This attention to detail provides peace of mind and allows you to enjoy your meal without worry

A Welcoming Atmosphere

Beyond the food, Vito Lounge offers a warm and inviting environment. The decor is eclectic and cozy, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light, creating a bright and airy space. Whether you're dining alone, with friends, or with family, the ambiance is relaxed and accommodating. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any dietary questions or concerns.

A Community Favourite

Vito Lounge has garnered praise from the gluten-free community for its dedication to providing safe and delicious options. Reviews highlight the extensive gluten-free menu, the quality of the food, and the knowledgeable staff. Many diners express their gratitude for a place where they can enjoy a meal out without the stress of potential gluten exposure.

Final Thoughts

For those with coeliac disease, Vito Lounge in Fareham is more than just a restaurant it's a place where you can dine confidently and enjoy a meal that feels like a treat, not a compromise. With its extensive gluten-free menu, commitment to safety, and welcoming atmosphere, Vito Lounge sets a high standard for gluten-free dining. It's a testament to the fact that living with dietary restrictions doesn't mean sacrificing flavour or dining...

I am a big fan of the lounges. I was an original Porto lounge dweller in my student days. I was very excited to see the lounges making their way to the south coast with their restaurants. Vito lounge has the most amazing food in Fareham. A real foodie haven! As this is still a new establishment, it does still feel like it is trying to find its feet in the local community but I have every faith it will. Service is a little slow, I feel sorry for the staff having to run up and down the stairs with food orders 100 times a day as it's a big climb. There were also a couple of careless mistakes made with orders during our last visit. I ordered churros without cinnamon but due to the orders being delivered to the wrong tables and us not being informed, I received a cinnamon-coated dessert. It wasn't the end of the world by any means, but it concerned me that considering how careful establishments are with allergies, this could have been an issue. I will most certainly be visiting again soon though, as the food really...
