Coffee#1 Fareham — Restaurant in Fareham

Update: 19/12/2022. Sadly disappointed with the service and the food. Where do I start? Firstly, despite it not being overly busy, my server was was so preoccupied with another order that she failed to take my order properly. Having ordered food and two large Hot Chocolates, she totally forgot our food order, I had to remind her when paying. Secondly, mum and me both ordered two large hot chocolates. Mum wanted the cream and marshmallows and I ordered a straight one. When I went to drink mine, I found marshmallows in mine. I called over the girl who served me and she took mine back. Instead of a new mug as originally ordered, she spooned out the marshmallows and returned to me half a mug of hot chocolate. Thirdly, the food, mum and me both ordered the Breakfast Wrap. Whilst the filling was tasty, the outside of the wrap was like cardboard and the inner, just soggy. On this occasion I found Coffee1 lacking in customer service, very poor response to customer complaint leading to a shortage of ordered drink, substandard food. I would have complained, again, but having already seen the response to a prior complaint, I decided not to bother. I will be sending a copy of this to Coffee1 head office. I am disappointed that this once superb establishment has fallen so far.

Always love a stop here whenever in town. Plenty of food and drink available, some a little pricey. Would have only give 4* because of the prices but their hot chocolate deserves a star of its own. Nice friendly welcoming staff, who were quick with towels when mum knocked over her drink. Were so surprised when they replaced that drink with no charge now that's...

Hit or miss with 'Coffee #1'. On most occasions the cafe will be clean and lively and you'll be greeted with smiles and faultless service from the staff. BUT...., On other occasions,... (Especially if you enter the shop near closing time),, you'll be greeted with GLARES and incredibly UNENTHUSIASTIC SERVICE. These two in particular when I last visited looked offended that I'd entered 40 minutes before they closed. How dare I...!!!? 😱😱 They were in such a rush to get out..!! AND THEY ONLY CLOSE AT HALF PAST FIVE..!! ABSOLUTE JOKE..!! and then to top it off one of them starts HOOVERING about seven feet away from me and my poor friend. And suddenly we're greeted with this FOUL smell coming from the hoover as we are eating..?!?!! WHY...!?! Absolutely vile ..!! However,,... Despite this 🙄 Lovely selection of drinks and desserts, LOVE the paninis. And I enjoy seeing all the doggies and friendly people. I will visit 'Coffee #1' again, but I DARENT enter past FOUR...

My husband and I love coffee one! This is the first time we’ve been to this location and probably the last. He loved his coffee, the new seasonal blend was amazing, however, I don’t understand how 4 people can be behind the bar and non of them notice that they are serving drinks in unwashed mugs????? The only logical conclusion is that they all have severe learning difficulties or that they’ve all miraculously missed the invention of washing up liquid? I did not drink my hot chocolate as it was in a mug with the remnants of old coffee dripping down the side of the mug, I’m sure it won’t go to waste though, it will be left in the mug for the next customer to consume like all the other cups in here. Overall don’t bother visiting if you don’t want to...
