Sunshine Cafe — Restaurant in Fenland District

A great cafè that offers a full range of freshly cooked food. I used this place regularly for a fry up on a Saturday morning. I went to pay for my normal breakfast on Whittlesey's Strawbear day, to find that the drink is no longer included with the breakfast...In essence over a 30% rise for the meal. No mention earlier in the week, just a sticker covering "drinks included" on the menus. Spooky that it just happens to be the busiest day of the year. We have enjoyed a few varied meals from the extensive menu recently. The food is sensibly priced, well cooked, hot and tasty. My favourites so far are the 'gammon delight' and liver, bacon and onions. The roast dinners also deserve special mention as do the omelettes. The cafe is clean and the staff polite and efficient. I think testament to how good this cafe is are the good number of diners and takeaway customers choosing this place for their meal and we look forward to many more satisfying...

Gave one star on the food as an option for no stars was not an option...! Food is disgusting. Flat baked potato with cheese like rubber. Cod in batter had been frozen. Batter was very poor and more like breadcrumbs. Fish was dry and tasteless. It came with peas which were a lime green colour and very cold. All this came to over £21...!!
