Cracking pub, don't be put off by the lively banter which some sensitive souls might be a bit 'sniffy' about - it's a people's pub! What is more important is the value for money you get as the food is exceptional! I challenge you to eat a 'full brekky' so don't order more than you can comfortable manage as waste is so selfish. All meals are prepared with obvious talent for knowing when a food is just right to be served. I highly recommend this pub for anyone who appreciates value for money and the care taken to provide it.

Excellent hygiene regime, very strict on facemasks and general cleanliness. Food was excellent, turnover was extremely rapid, thus to allow for all customers. Excellent menu, great variety of beverages. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Moderately busy but very efficient despite this.

Pretty fine local. Good prices. Great place to watch football. Bets are optional :) Nice to see local real ales on offer and a cheerful dog mooching crisps. Casual vibe. I will need to return when the kitchen is open to see if it's a full 5 star pub.

What a lovely friendly pub. My husband & I called into this pub for just 'one' drink & ended up staying about 4 hours!! Everyone from the barstaff, locals & the landlord were so welcoming & friendly despite my husband being an Arsenal fan. We arent local & are only staying a couple of days but so pleased we called in to this pub for 'one' drink. Will definitely visit again. Thank...
