McDonald's — Restaurant in Folkestone and Hythe District

Called in yesterday evening for something to eat after a very busy day. Ordering is straightforward, table service was quick and efficient, food was hot and well presented. There was a huge delivery happening while we were there with some staff dealing with this. Very unusually no staff covering the floor of eating area and several tables were left uncleaned and with food and packaging lying around. Obviously if customers disposed of their own leftovers this would be helpful. However not the case yesterday evening. There were 2 young girls seated at a table behind us quietly chatting and eating their food. 4 young men (definitely older than these girls) came in sat at a table along from us within sight and started making suggestive comments towards these girls. Their language during this time was unpleasant. The girls promptly left upon finishing their food and these young men (all of middle eastern origin by sounds of it) continued being coarse and vulgar about the girls. I doubt anyone could have done anything about their behaviour however I found it very concerning and unpleasant! Nobody around at all to keep an eye on things. These men also left without disposing of food and packaging therefore yet another dirty unkempt table!! Another 2 young girls came in after this and I just found myself wondering how they may have been treated had these men still been there. When we left there were 5 tables which had not been cleared or cleaned. Definitely NOT the usual...

This is twice now this has happened! Ordered online and ordered Medium shake and medium sprite. And was given 2 large flat cokes that was spilt all over the bag! Our fries were over cooked and caked in salt, and our burgers thrown upside in the bag so they fell out everywhere! Your paid well £11 an hour when I was a student I got £3.75 an hour and we did far better job. It’s easy take it from someone who done it for 3 years and was a crew trainer. Lazy work! And not been trained properly! When you’re spending £33 as much as a Chinese it’s not on. McDonald’s is no longer a cheap take out, it’s on paths with ordering a Chinese now which is the most expensive take out. Deliveroo only give you 25p back for missing items! Do your job you are paid to do! Will not be ordering from here again, full of students who could not give a care in the world and paid far better then I was in 2017! Paid triple the amount and get free meals, as we was only allowed 1 item! Managers are to blame to check your staff are doing there job what your paid...

I'm starting to think that the universe doesn't want me to have mcdonalds. I'd say every other time I order to take away.. something is missing.. and it's almost always my burger. We have taken to checking now before leaving as it's getting very annoying driving up, getting home.. seeing my burger is missing and having to faff about going back. This has happened multiple times over the 3 mcdonalds in my area. Tonight my partner drove up.. and the one time he doesn't check in ages.. yep, missing my burger. Not that we should have to check.. surely it's not rocket science to have an order on a screen.. get the food and bag it ALL up? I get every so often mistakes happen.. but jesus, 8/10 times something is missing.. it's getting really tiring now.. having to wait till my partner has finished his meal so his doesn't go cold (he uses his nhs app so I can't just go up as he has to show his app) to then drive up using more fuel .. it's getting a joke.
