This is a very good Gregg's. I've never been ain a bad one. Whenever I travel across the North East I've found that each Gregg's has something unique about it and also something in common. Of course there is the business identity & corporate branding. Something beyond that in terms of the standard of service. Always a massive que, a few staff but only ever one serving, makes your wait even longer, with half an hour lunch break, you can easily burn 10 mins or more in here, they know it gets manic between 11.30 and 12.30 komatsu factory kick out and so do most of the other firms round here, but still only one...

I would normally speak highly of Gregg's and find their pasties and bakes and morning bacon sandwiches lovely. However about 2pm today I purchased a tuna sandwich. In summary the bun was soggy and it is fit for the bin. Come back the good quality cold sandwich...
